I found a post from a while ago that pretty much describes my current concerns regarding premium cartomizes. After initial excitement about the flavors and vapor production, I'm finding that those new cartos indeed burn much hotter, especially the softies, they mow through my batteries like crazy (cutting their llifespan by half), and they burn almost without a warning, rendering the cart unsuitable for refilling. So far I burned 5 softies and they are toast. They can't be reused. It never happened with the old cartomizers--they gave me plenty of warning before they were done.

Another problem I had with them is that the soft rubber tips sometimes leak juice into my mouth, which is not a pleasant sensation. Even though they are a breeze to remove, my feeling is they they don't seal the carto as well as the two other designs.

And, in my experience, they don't last nearly as long as the old ones.

My question is, thus, have these design problems been addressed/resolved? I understand that the flavor is dramatically improved, especially fruit flavors; not in my case though, cause my favorites, CMF and SMILIN, are very similar to the old version. I understand that in some instances the flavor is actually inferior (hi Maxx).

Having tried the premiums, I feel that I am much more comfortable with the regular cartos, and might even go back to ordering them for awhile, waiting for the premium premium generation. I hope that the old ones will be in stock for some time.

I would like to hear what other family members think.

Personally, I really love the premium cartomizers, mainly because the older ones often had a few duds in the box from time to time, and the vapor was extremely lacking. In the first 1 hour of a carto of the regs the flavor would be great, then gradually decreasing in flavor, which caused me to waste them because I would through them out when they got weak, before they even dyed. In my opinion, they last just as long as the older carts sometimes longer because I'm more satisfied and don't have to keep puffing. I haven't noticed them killing my batteries quicker, but that's probably because I have like 6 batteries on me at a time:shock::D

Hey, it looks as if they are still pretty stocked on the older cartomizers, so order those for awhile. I hear they are working on the ultimate cartomizers now. We all have different preferences! :D I for one love the premiums, it's all I vape now

It was a slight learning curve regards to refilling, but once I got it down pat, it was all good.

That said, I am also more forgiving than most. I totally understand that this is all still really new technology, and that I have a choice to either grow along with it, or turn away, and come back when things are more streamlined.

I am here for the long haul, and enjoying every minute of it.
