I'm curious as to the differences between the "Ultra" and original Smoore parts, for both the 40x and 601 models?

I read on the site that "they are OEM manufactured to our exacting specifications", how are those specifications different from Smoore's specs?

Is Smoore the manufacturer?

I guess I'm mostly interested in atty differences honestly (resistance any different), but generally curious as to what is materially different in any way. For example, are the carts of the same capacity? Do the batteries put a different voltage across the load (actually pretty curious about that too)? Different materials used in any of the parts? Is the atty bridge any different?

Also about the PTB carts. The site says they have higher capacity. Is this because the inner cart is physically larger or because the PTB filler consumes less volume than the stock polyfill filler?

Just trying to understand the differences, thnx.

The Ultra line hardware is OEM manufactured for us by Smoore. We have specific cutoff/reset timings in our batteries, and ensure that we get the higher amp version of these batteries. All Ultra Batts and Attys are tested on a volt-meter and we only ship parts that meet our standards.

The Ultra attys are standard Smoore attys... but we ensure that all Ultra attys are tested on a voltmeter before shipping. The PTB Ultra carts are assembled here, they give better performance, cleaner taste, and yes - they do hold more liquid than a standard cart. The new M401XL carts hold approx 40% more liquid than a standard M401 cart.

We also have a new style M601XL Atty and M601XL Cart available and shipping for the M601. It is a sleeved Atty (like 510), and holds much more juice than a standard M601 cart. These new Attys and Carts will be added to the site tonight. With the Ultra or PowerPal M601 you now have a choice on two different style Attys - dip or drip!

What is the voltage output from the USB passthrough for the M60x? Is it 3.7v (with an inline battery) or is at a full 5v?

The M601 USB Passthrough is a 3.7V in-line black battery unit with Green LED.
Both this unit and the M401 USB Passthrough have a retractable battery and USB cord.

The M601XL Atty and Cart is compatible with the new M301. Both of these units are in stock and shipping... and will be available for order on the site sometime this weekend...
