Hello everyone,
First of all thanks for the great forum, so much info to take in but most importantly everyone seems to agree
on the importance of safety when using those devices, please be cheap on anything else in life but don't be on mods.......

I have quieted smoking on the shopping malls E-cigs for about 3 months and the habit came back again.

However now I am back with force and determination to kick this habit once and for all.
I purchased a Provari V2 and will have it operational hopefully in less than a week time.

I am so impressed with this device that I am going to purchase 2 more for back-ups in the near future.
So much research I put into the (Red) AW IMR 18650 2000mAh & Pila IBC Charger and Lipo Charging bag; for obvious reasons this thing will be in your face ALL THE TIME!
I came up with some rules regarding this battery usage and intend to stick with those rules no matter what,
also for backup I have purchased Blu Cig for on the go.

I will be posting at some point a mini review of things I did to my Provari and why I did them.

Thanks!

ps:
I hope this helps the new/old guys out.
I have made this and printed out a sticker placed on my Pila IBC Charger.
Stick with these rules guys and it will be safe using this device.

(Red)AW IMR 18650 2000mAh
Max Allowed voltage after Charge= 4.2-4.25V (Max)
Ideal Minimum Allowed Charge= 3.5V (Charge It)
Lowest Allowed Charege = 3.2V (Throw away)

(Pila IBC) DO NOT put a 3.0V battery in a 3.7V battery charger.

Other than the Blu Cig, y'all did good.
Welcome to ECF.

Thanks guys,

Just wondering Titanium what other alternatives you know of that I don't?
I know they are not the best in quality nor did I expect them to be but they are more "acceptable" in public
and the fact that you can screw in a battery in the pack to charge it on the go makes it ideal for me outside.

I am here to learn more from you guys so please if you know another "slim or thin like analogs, acceptable" and
would last 24+ in case of emergency PLEASE guide me to it (regardless of price).

How long did it take you to get your Provari? I just ordered one today and am excited to get it. Just curious

Congrats!
surprisingly took only 3-5 days to receive it! I used the fastest shipping they got.
I know it says 10+ or so days, but I guess they just mention it in case of a high demand period.

ps: mine is satin black with blue LED's.
The display screws have been reported to come loose with time/use.
I would advice you remove the display screws on your Provari like I did and
apply Loctite 243 on the screw heads this version is oil and heat proof
and also it's easy removal for service if needed.

Great choice on the provari, seems to have a cult-like following on here. But there is good reason behind that following, they seem to be very well made products.

As a backup slim-sleek mod I would probably recommend something along the lines of a Volt, they have great reviews for being an 808 design smaller pv and you won't be gimped on battery life or vapor production. All-in-all it comes down to what you want to do, if you want to stick with a blu, by all means stick with it. Blu ciggs are kind of a hit or miss with their devices and cartridges as the quality isn't well regulated by the company. And you can get an analog-like pv for less money. Madvapes.com is a great site to try out, they have a decent selection of different style pv's, from 808's to box mods to big battery pv's.

Keep asking questions, we are all here to learn from each other and help each other.

You did great picking your gear. The Provari will rock out loud with any carto/atty combo (with 510 connector). I use Vision Spinner (1300mAh) VV stick batts for on the go and have my Provaris and other 18650 mods for at home.

I wish I would've had your common sense to jump in with both feet, I would've saved a ton of "experimental funding"...

Thanks Ahoy for the recommendations,
I can't agree more especially that I am systems engineer I do have a special
appreciation for devices/things with multi-layer protection built in
topping up with quality sealed the deal for me.

I am surprised why there isn't more R&D and high end devices like the Provari
already in the market! This is the future for who wants to quite smoking and it will be big
eventually once people know that it does REALLY work.

Thanks Cloud Wizard,
If it was not for your experimentations and others,
myself and many more would probably still be on the analogs! lol

I ordered the Blu Premium kit myself... and while I've been waiting for it to get here, I decided to take a co-worker's advice and go for the Provari.

I actually just received my second and third orders from Provape (I ordered a spare battery and a USB charger after the initial shipment arrived), and still no sign of the Blu kit I ordered first. I'll have to find someone to hand it off to when it shows up, because I am madly in love with my Provari.

I really don't know enough yet to be a snob or fanboy about my PV, but I can tell you I was impressed as hell at their shipping speed and at what a solid piece of work this little machine seems to be.

Haven't even wanted an analog cigarette since it showed up, either, which is pretty cool.

You will be surprised, for some odd reason Blu Cig website has some of the worst verification systems
I have seen in my life, for the life of them they can't verify my age when putting in my credit card info.

In a way I am glad it didn't, I went to a local walgreens to find the original blu cig sitting in the shelf
and about 30 carto boxes, gladly they were Tobacco and Cherry flavors which I have seen online to be the best they got. took them all and walked away lol.

No cult around here. No fanbois either. Just satisfied owners who likes to share their good choice of a great PV. ;)

I can't agree more. It is not about brand loyalty to me and it never has been never will be.
I look for Quality, Performance, Reliability, and Safety and in reverse order when it comes to PV's.

Get me another brand with better quality and I am a buyer..

ps: By doing the above we will help this industry improve itself,
But as most know money is shy! until there is a clear cut regulations on PV's worldwide
you will see more money coming in and more R&D and better devices coming out.
Until then Provari is the best so far.
