Pretty sure that is the per channel ma, from reviews on cpf and budgetlight. The reviews warn not to use the 1000 setting unless you are charging high capacity cells.
Good to know- I don't think the AW's that I'm using can take that much of a charge- glad I've been charging like I've been.
Really, folks for $20 this is the charger to get!!
I like mine, running it off a little belkin timer set to 3 hours. All my batts charge in that much time, the no power discharge rate is a trivial 0.5 mA/hr.
All of my Red Aw Imr batteries come off the Pila at 4.15 for a reason. These are 3.7 batteries and overcharging the batteries shortens the life span. I can use my Trustfire 4 bay and get them up to 4.25 but at what gain as when you put them in a mod they drop fairly quickly from the overcharged state.
True- and any more than 4.25 is truly considered over-charging and will shorten battery life.
My Trustfire was sometimes charging them at 4.3 or even 4.35...way too high and I was feeling that these batteries weren't holding up as well as before.
