I wanted to know everything about battery saftey as you could possibly tell me so I dont end up on the 5 o'clock news around the states. Please and thank you :)

Go to the steamengine.org website and play around with the calculators. You can build a one ohm coil out of pretty much any gauge kanthal, it's all a matter of how many wraps and what diameter the coil is. 28 is a popular gauge around here for general use, I use 29 and 30 because it heats up faster. 7 wraps of 29 around a 1/16 inch mandrel gives me a 1.2 ohm coil. I use 18650 AW IMR 1600 maH batteries, which have a 24 amp rating, I have no need for that rating, but it makes me very comfortable

Better to start of being conservative rather than venting a battery, especially if you're unsure of your battery's capabilities.

Good thing im asking and cautious i want to know more before using a mech mod.
now what about a MXJO Flat Top High Drain Battery Safe chemistry LiMN 3.7V rechargeable batteries in an 35A 18650 2500MAH size

I have a pair of MXJO batteries the local shop sold me 5 months ago. I suspect it's a re-wrapped LG HE2, but have no way to confirm this. Haven't had any trouble with them.

I don't run them over 10A, and have some samsung 25Rs on order to replace them.
