Hello All-
I'm a 24 year old female from beautiful Boston MA... and have just entered the world of e-cigs. So after 7 years of smoking, I've decided to attempt quitting. I ordered from thecoldturkey.com and got my CT2 e-cig and accessories yesterday. (please excuse me if I haven't learned the proper lingo yet) I charged it over night and attempted to smoke it this morning. So far- it tastes O.K. Kind of burns my throat. I'm a long time Marlboro light (now called Marlboro golds) smoker- so the 16 mg of nicotine is plenty for me. However- I noticed when I exhale no "smoke" or vapor comes out. I am inhaling slow and hard like I've heard we should do when vaping. Maybe I need to do something else? I saw videos where some people made holes in the cig.

Has anyone else had experience with the Ct2 from cold turkey? Any advice from some vets?

Look forward to corresponding with everyone :)

no experience with that one. you may need to puff it for a while to break in the atomizer or 'prime' it that or the battery is dead or dying...

or you dont have any liquid in your carts

vaping is an art no so much an exact science. give it time and read ALOT on this forum. youll learn alot quickly.. and dont be shy we were all new once.. ask any questions you need!

give it time and figure out how to work the thing and get to the point that when it isnt vaping well, you can tell what is causing the problem. the closer and closer you get to figuring it out, the better and better the experience will be.

My first e cig was a cheap "name brand" e cig, now im a 510 user.(510 is an atomizer style) and loving it..

welcome to the forums nmarie! youre in the right place for answers... keep looking:)

Try a search for the brand you bought, in this forum.
A decent quick discussion of a couple of popular e-cigs is at:
http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...st-electronic-cigarette-first-time-vaper.html
There's also a super multi-part intro in the ECF Library area.
I bought one kit, it didn't do much for me other than let me see that this had potential. Looked at info on this forum, went to a KR808D-1, and became a happy camper.
Good luck!

Same for me. I started with the E9 from greensmoke and then switched to the KR808D-1 from vapor4life.com. i have never looked back and enjoy vaping all the time.

Mark's link to Don's Thread is what made me switch and it was the best decision i have made during this vaping experience.

Give it a shot :)
