Well I've been smoking for almost 13 years now and I want to try to E-cig but I have some questions. I've smoked Marlboro lights all my life and smoke a pack a day.

1.) e-liquid is the same as carts?
2.) Can E-Liq be used in all E-cigs?
3.) Which is a good E-cig?
4.) Where can I get one? (US Seller and takes credit card)

Is there any e-cig that looks like a real cig

Welcome TBDesigns.
Everyone is going to have there own opinion about what e-cig is best. If money is no object ( to a certain point) I would look at one of the custom e-cigs that work with generic atomizers. Puresmoker.com will be releasing one anyday now, Janty has the stick, Totally wicked is selling the screwdriver. If you want to start IMO with a good not too expensive one I would pick the 901. E-liq can be used in almost all e-cig cartridges, not so sure about the cartomizers on some of the models. Most vendors are using paypal, I have no seen too many take cards directly. I am pretty sure you can use a card with paypal without having a paypal account, but I am not 100% sure. The e-liquid you buy is usually 100X better then liquid in the carts but then again that is my opinion.
Good luck.

Thanks for the info. I'm looking to spend no more then $100 on a kit. I hate paypal 5 years ago my account was hacked and $3000 was pulled from my bank account that was linked to my paypal and I never seen it again.

1.) E-Liquid is the same as carts?
No you will need some form of cart along with the liquid (unless you drip directly on the atomizer). But the liquid is dripped on the cart to save money..you won't need to buy alot of carts if you drip the liquid on them. Also there are ways to DIY your own carts in the forums. Alot of purchases come with several cartridges with them when you order.
I found it was enough for me to use until I knew whether I would be able to vape instead of smoke.

2.) Can E-Liq be used in all E-cigs?
I don't know the answer to this one.. sorry. I think there are some that don't use the liquid but I can't remember which ones.

3.) Which is a good E-cig?
I've seen alot of positive reviews for the Janty and the Screwdriver. And the NJOY
I can recommend DSE-901. I'm still using the same atomizers and batteries that came with purchase. None have gone out on me yet.

4.) Where can I get one? (US Seller and takes credit card)
SAVEASMOKER.COM is where I've ordered for my family. Be sure to do a search here for the coupon codes to save some money and get free shipping on your order.
Alot of the time when I check out, the option will be to pay with Paypal, but Paypal lets you pay by credit card without having an account. That's how I paid for mine
Here's a link to sellers and coupon codes

There's a lot of good info in the newbie forum on the different types with pics here
http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...ion-newbies-pics-most-common-models-here.html

If you have an Amazon account they have the NJOY...and I've also heard they sell it on Costco with extra carts. (No paypal worries with Amazon)
Be careful of what you buy and do a lil research on here before you buy any of the other brands sold on Amazon, there are some ecigarettes that are not worth buying according to the threads in here. This forum is (in my opinion) the best source for information for ecigs.

The DSE-901 in white with a brown cartridge looks like a real cigarette. Be sure the light on the end is orange. I've used it outside on my smoke breaks with other smokers and they didn't realize it wasn't a 'cigarette' for several days. The NJOY also looks very similar to a cigarette.

If you're looking for lots of vapor and a good quality and consistent throat hit, like a lot of us, the e-cig models that have a manual switch are a good choice.

The importance of the manual switch is that it heats the atomizer portion of the e-cig to a higher temp which gives you warmer vapor, lots of vapor, and a good quality throat hit. Another important feature of the manual switch is that it does not have a short cut off or time out to the drag.

For someone new to e-cigs, I would recommend the 510 e-cig model. It's a manual switch e-cig that is reliable, durable, and does what an e-cig is suppose to do.

510 model e-cigs
USA Suppliers
Joye 510 ( e-Smokey Treats - Electronic Cigarette's, The healthy alternative to traditional tobacco cigarette's )
Dura-C ( Janty USA )
Yeti ( AltSmoke - Electronic Cigarettes, DSE901, The Yeti & More. )

UK Supplier
Dura-C ( iVapour | Electronic Cigarettes | Janty Stick ? Janty Kissbox ? Janty Dura-C ? Janty Mini Fogger ? Janty E-Liquid & Cartridges )

China Supplier
Eastmall 510 ( 510 Manual Switch Starter Kit - Black - e-Cigs Manual Switch 510 - Eastmall International Co.,Ltd )

You may also want to include a 510 passthrough with your order. The passthrough is identical to a standard 510 rechargeable battery except that the end portion is wired to a standard USB connector. You simply plug the USB connector into a USB port or portable power pack and can vape all day long without having to change or charge batteries.

The e-liquid you buy will also play an important part in satisfying your nicotine cravings and also in providing a good throat hit. The higher you go in nicotine strength, the better the throat hit. 36 mg nicotine (the highest strength right now) does give a nice throat hit but made me sick and gave me headaches. I smoked 2-3 packs of ciggies per day for several years - so just because you smoked a lot doesn't mean that the higher nicotine is right for you.

For the first 2 months of vaping I used 18 mg (high) nicotine strength and was quite happy with that. I am currently now using 12 mg (medium) nicotine strength and still feel satisfied.

For a first purchase of e-liquid, I would recommend you buy the flavor or flavors you think will best suit your needs. You'll find the right strength for you. There are a lot of suppliers that have good liquid so the field is open there. Wherever you place your e-cig order you will also be able to buy e-liquid.

Finding the right e-cig model and the e-liquid flavor and nic strength that suits you is what is going to make you a successful e-smoker.

If you haven't done so already, your next step is to view these helpful videos:
