What I picked up on was the whole issue of vapers in a bar, drink onboard, having to go outside and join smokers for their "fix". I've personally never had an issue with cravings, but it is a valid point.

I find it absurd that they don't just ban cigarettes, which following their own logic on e-cigs would be a natural step, surely.

It's all messed up.

Thanks for posting this KentC! It backs dr. Nitzkin's summary, as well as Drexel and others. Way cool.

Ban cigs? That's a sensitive subject. I don't believe in throwing businesses, families, farmers, under the bus. I believe in freedom to make informed decisions. Prohibition only creates black markets.

Indeed, it's choice - something we're being denied all in the name of "health" or whatever. I don't think cigarettes should be banned, I'm all for choice. The logic is weird though, they want to ban e-cigs but won't ban cigarettes even though there's studies showing smoking kills, jury is out for the mainstream on vaping (but what studies have been done suggest it's pretty safe in comparison)

As you say, it's emotive - and I'm not advocating a ban on ciggies - people should be allowed to choose. It's irritating, more than anything.

We are all on the same side here, didn't mean to throw an offhand comment out there to offend, maybe should have thought about it more prior to posting.

Live and learn, I guess :)

I didn't mean to squelch your voice, I was just blaring mine out louder and stronger, (cuz I hate prohibition) and I'm so relieved that you agree about freedom of choice and that you were making an observation (valid) is all.
XXXXXXXX.s and OOOOOOOOO's. :)
