So glad to have found ECF. Joined a short time ago and have already learned alot.
Started vaping over a year ago with great initial success. Used a joyetech 510T w/attys or CE2 clearos. Everything was fine until I started having issues with strength and thickness of the vapor (I should mention that, as a smoker, I hand-rolled organic American Spirit tobacco so I was accustomed to a very strong hit). The set-up I started with was close enough to get me off analogs for several months, but as the strength of the vapor waned, so did my interest.
A couple months ago I decided to give it another try as I really did enjoy vaping more than that nasty weed tobacco (I only really realized just how nasty after vaping for the first few weeks). Got some fresh bats for the 510 and all was well for a while but just not quite enough.
So I decided to upgrade to a bigger battery and higher voltage.
After some fairly in-depth research I settled on the Ego-T 2200 mah mod tube and have mostly been using SmokTech's Redux clearos w/ high resistance heads. BIG difference and WAY more satisfying.
Now, if you've had the patience to read this far, here's my question.... Where'd the flavor go? I used to be able to taste the juices I liked, mostly tobaccos, lightly sweet, right on my tongue. Is the higher voltage killing it or could it be some other problem?
I'll mention one last thing. I just started mixing my own juices. Usually around 10% experimental combinations.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
