New setup....ITaste MVP 2.0...what now?

I've just bought a new setup...an ITaste (ITazte) MVP 2.0 Shine. I had been vaping for the past year on my e-Go C Upgrade (passthrough) and it was slowly dying :( Back in June, I bought my boyfriend VTR which has an awesome vape but was too big and heavy for me. A friend at work suggested the MVP for me. I did some research online and found one with pretty blue crystals. Don't judge...I love my bling :)

Anyway, going from my "I don't have to think about" e-Go to this multi-setting MVP has me a little baffled.

What is a good start setting where I'll get a good vape? I like the big/full creamy vape cloud (or whatever the lingo is).

What at is a good 3mL tank for the MVP that is bottom and dual coil? Was that the right lingo there???

i just need a good starting point. I saw a link somewhere on this forum for the Watts - volts - amps - ohms calculator but don't understand what that all means. Can someone please break it all down for me in normal English? I'd really appreciate it. Thanks in advance.

I wouldn't even look at an ohms calculator when you are trying to find what tastes good to you. On the MVP, the P button controls watts and the U button controls volts. You can only set one at a time. Whichever you choose, start at the lowest setting and work your way up until you find your sweet spot. It's different for everyone so no one can tell you what will work for you. The MVP is a fantastic mod; I really think you will enjoy it.

i love how the MVP has a LCD screen. the unit itself is a beast. super hefty as well. i've had my MVP for awhile and never had any problems really. i've been using the asphire nautilus tank with it. great tank. i would highly recommend it. best thing is that it holds 5ml too, i don't have to refill it that often :)

What tank were you using on your ego? Was it satisfying?

I was using the Vision Victory tank. It was a 5mL tank...and I used either the 1.8ohm or 2.4ohm coils. I found the 1.8 worked best. I was very satisfied with that set up, but those tanks and coils were a little hard to find locally....and my last tank had started leaking but that was because I had dropped it. Whoops. But my e-Go wasn't holding an all day charge anymore. It was just over a year old and I used it daily.

Thanks. I like the bigger tanks since I don't like having to refill in the middle of the day at work. I'll look for it.

Thanks everyone for your advise. It gives me a good starting point. While I've vaped for a year now, I'm still new to all the technology available. I started vaping to help me stop smoking analogs. It worked. I've not touched one...or even wanted one in this past year. And I've helped no less than 6 other friends/co-workers get off analogs by talking to them about vaping after which they went to a vape shop and gotten themselves some sort of setup.

I've only had my MVP2 for a week now but I've learned alot about it by just paying with it.
Someone on here told me that you can only set watts (P) or volts (U) but not both. The difference is if you set it by volts as your battery loses it's charge and drops below what you have it set at your setting will also drop. If you set it by watts as your battery drops the MVP will adjust itself to stay at the same setting.
Knowing that I have just been adjusting the watts and it's been working great.
I have found that different juices work better at different wattages and I even work better at different wattages. At different times during the day the same juice might taste better at different wattages than other times of the day. Sometimes I'll hit it and it just doesn't taste quite right so I'll make an adjustment and boom there it is.
So play around with it, change the watts or volts and find what works best for you!

Awesome! I set mine to that and I'm liking it so far.

Don't forget. like athousandyears said. It's either Volts or Watts, not both. Whichever one you set last, volts or watts is what the MVP is using. Just don't want you to think your getting a great vape because of a setting that you think you're using :) I really love mine too!

Just want to say the MVP is awesome...I rarely even have to charge it, last for weeks at a time & have dropped it & it's just solid. So glad to have moved on from ego batteries that I had to replace every 3-7 weeks & constantly charge. No worries about the connect or charger..nice. I use the iclear 16 that comes w/ it..at first didn't like them but after trying other atomizers I actually like it best now..holds 1.6ml
