My wife and I quit completely last month using the iClear16 starter kit from Flavour Vapour. I can't post the link as I'm a new member!

We aren't overly clued up on all the vapeing lingo yet so aren't quite sure about the battery that we recieved as we just got the best set the seller advised for us.

We're thinking about buying an iTaste MVP 2.0 each. It comes with an iClear 30, which we're not overly keen on as we've had problems with the strings, so also thinking about getting the Kanger Aerotank as well. Has anyone had any issues or praise with either of these items? We wanna make sure before we go ahead and spend £100!

Thanks :)

The MVP2 had good power management being DC-DC. But, it only went to 11 watts which limits different watt settings. I would consider a 20 watt or 30 watt mod so that you can grow into and not have to get new mods for you and your wife. Actually, the MVP3 is just out (one month) and can be found for ~$55.

The MVP2 was good a year or so ago, but...

As to the topper, there are many new ones that have much better flavor. As to clearomizers, I used the nautilus most. But, there are newer ones. If yor and your wife stay on the same systems, it will help with supplies, etc.

Oh, the internet is much cheaper. I use 101vape a good amount.

All...IMHO

The MVP 2.0 is going the way of the dodo bird. I suggest getting the newer MVP 20W. It is the same price as the 2.0, but has a vastly improved chipset, more power, and a spring-loaded 510 connector. Also, it does not ship with any clearo or tank, so need to worry about getting anything you don't want.

The Kanger Aerotank is a proven performer. Just be sure to get the V2. You may also want to consider the Kanger Genitank which has an improved airflow controller and comes with the newer design of the dual coil heads (although you can use the old style heads as well), but is priced a little lower than the Aerotank.

Hi Pyrophobia!

The Innokin iTaste MVP 2.0 was the second Advanced mod I owned! The 1990's mobile (cell) phone look of it put me off a bit! But it was a reliable device and the battery lasted all day, so I could go out all day without worrying about any battery loss. It's a great device for beginners. Innokin released an MVP 20W but by then other manufactorers had released much more powerful devices which then led to Innokin releasing their MVP 30W a month later, but it still didn't take off as well as they expected! By then we had witnessed a 260W device! Not that it's needed!

It's a shame Innokin haven't upped their game recently but this industry is very difficult to compete in at present. And we must never forget that Innokin made the first commercial mod!

I would say go for the 20w or maybe even the mvp3 if you can stretch that far. You might not need all the power yet but it will gave you room to try more stuff later with a little more battery life.
I haven't used the kanger pro/aero tanks but they do seam popular. I have an aspire nautilus mini and it works nice with similar performance to those kangers i think.

The Innokin MVP's are a solid performer. If you are going to go with an MVP I agree with others. Look at the MVP3 (30 watts)

Also look at the iStick 30watt or even 50watt. 50 watts comes in handy (and long battery life - 4400 mah) should you ever be interested in any of the new sub-ohm tanks that have recently hit the market.

For a tank I highly recommend the Nautilus (or mini Nautilus). It's a solid performer, especially with the BVC's (bottom vertical coils) for Nautilus.

Here's another vote for the iStick 50w. Paired with a Joyetech Delta II is a marvelous set-up. I had an MVP 2.0 which worked well with a Kanger Protank 2 and 3 but the iStick with a good sub-ohm tank is like another world of flavor and vapor. My MVP 2.0 only lasted about 6 months before it experienced failure of the centerpin. Not sure exactly what happened but I'm pretty sure the o-ring which insulates the centerpin from shorting out degraded. I've heard you can attempt to replace this o-ring but I didn't feel like attempting it.

I have an MVP 2 and it is currently gathering dust. I swap between my IPV mini and the iStick 50w. I like the iStick for the battery life. Both work equally well for me because I don't use high wattage. For someone who is looking to upgrade to something a little more powerful, the MVP 20w would be a good start. The iStick, for the price, is a better bargain in my opinion. Also, the Nautilus mini would also be a good tank to look at. I've seen mentions of the Subtank (I own one), the Delta II, and others. A beginning vaper may find those types of tanks (direct lung vaping) a bit daunting. Keep to Aerotanks and Nautilus' (Nautili ?) for the mouth to lung style of vaping.

The MVP 2.0 was my first device along with the Aspire Nautilus Mini. The second I walked out of the shop with it was the second I was tobacco free. The MVP 2.0 and MVP 20 watt devices seem to be around the same price, so I would suggest going with the newer model. The iStick line is also amazing. My current device is the iStick 50w and it's been perfect. Either way, any of these devices are great at what they do.

I use the MVP 2.0 as my all day vape device and I love it. I'm still fairly new to vaping so I haven't tried a lot of different devices so take my review with that in mind. I personally don't need anything over 11W as I never seem to go above 9.0-10W. I use my Aspire Nautilus tank on it and occasionally put the nautilus mini on there when my other battery dies. I have never had a problem with it. The battery life is amazing and, although I've never used it, the option to charge a device with the Output is really cool. The MVP 3.0 came out not too long ago and I've been considering getting one at some point.

I've recommended it to a lot of people so far, as someone above mentioned it's a great device for beginners but if you're looking to blow big clouds it's not for you.
