Yes indeed, something funny happened on the way to the ReDuX Roto (named ROTO by GotVapes early on in the SMOktech Mini Vivi Nova journey). About the middle of 2012 GotVapes was working with SMOKtech on a companion tank to go with the ReDuX CE4. It would use the same heads (yes you would be able to buy the same head lineup for both their CE4 and their tank). GotVapes had named the SMOKtech CE4, the ReDuX, and they asked us to help them with a name for their new 'mini vivi nova-esque" product and we came up with the name of ROTO for them. Months passed and we wondered where our ROTOs were. We had them on invoices, we had them removed and were credited for other products. Well, to make a long story short, look what wound up in the GotVapes lineup...

Introducing the NEW SMOKtech Mini Vivi Nova 2.0ml Complete Kit with 3 coil heads!

No, it is not a complete knock-off of the Vision product. SMOKtech made some notable changes:

• SMOKtech Mini Vivi Nova has a revolutionary spring loaded 510 connection. When you purchase your unit you will see what appears to be an ALARMINGLY extended connection. 'Rut Roh' you may say but wait...That is actually spring loaded and collapses/expands as needed to provide what should be a flawless connection to your battery! NICE! We think we will see much more of Mr. Spring Loaded Connector in future products. We are sure other Chinese manufacturers will respect SMOKtech's innovation >.>
• The SMOKtech Mini Nova provides the convenience of allowing you to use the SAME heads as your SMOKtech ReDuX CE4. One Stop Head Shop! Both use a similarly pipped conical top that we now see in Vision's Stardust.
• We have seen uncompromising flavor and vapor production from this unit. As always please allow about a half of a tank break in. For best results, when you first receive this, remove the coil head and clean/rinse this product before use.

Just a note: the Vision Mini Nova replacement tubes are NOT compatible with the SMOKtech Mini Nova tubes. The threading is reversed and is on the inside of the tubes on the SMOKtech iteration.

What you receive with your SMOKtech Mini ViVi Nova Kit:

• 2.4ml CLEAR top-coil tank

Yeah, Danno needs to make those words in RED COLOR so people pay attention or Woody is gonna get quite a few tickets in the system I think I could be wrong but seems like lately there are some people who just want to complain about stuff for no good reason other then they didn't pay attention and this is just right for that. maybe it shouldn't even say 'vivi nova' at all on there is my opinion should say Smoktech Roto. But I just a silly monkey so that don't mean nuttin

To be quite honest they wanted to capitalize on the success of the ViVi Nova, thats why they didn't go down the path of the ROTO name. We have to call it what they have it labeled all over also as there are some other sites also carrying this under that name (at least one I know of). Thanks for the suggestion on the red thing : )

Wally you have that pip atop the head of the ReDuX heads so I am not sure, it certainly is soemthing that can be tried...

I had promised I was going to see if the ReDuX heads work with our stardusts (I think they should) but I haven't had a chance to lookie-see yet. If anyone has tried this let us know.

Well man that sucks they wanna make more money so Boo-Hoo on You if there's confusion from non-reading customers Don't they realize some ub us just look at the pictures ? Okay, I apologize Danno and will shut up now but that just tells me they care nothing for what the vendors have to go thru they deal with, just money. and that's not right.

I have some of the redux and I can't use the heads interchangably...tried by accident when I had cleaned them and some stardusts at the same time. The threads on the bottom of the head aren't the same....if I remember right the redux has more threading Anyways....I had put the wrong heads on things and they wouldn't fire.........had to take them apart to see what was wrong and realized that I had put the wrong heads on them......had to switch them around and they were fine.

the heads from my redux did not fit on my vision mini nova I had to swap out the center pin because the redux head did not have an airflow notch cut out
