harpoooo.....
whats up man? Thanks for the info....I was thinking bout trying those cartomizers...but I haven't gotten around to it....

I understand what your saying tho....I run into those problems sometimes with off brand attys that are just a tad different at the connection...mess everything up...

Hey Tim

Just wondering if anyone else ran into this problem with these cartomizers. I tried three and none of them would work. ...... me off because I bought a few of them. I'll just have to use them by themselves.

Emonty was using vapornine turbos...but it may have been an older version???

I have the older hard caps and they work fine. The connectors look the same but the soft tops don't screw down far enough on the AFS connector. I've tried steel wool on the threads but they still don't work.

i have been doing this trick since back in the day with all of my atty models that had problems.. and problem solved.. I also share this as often as I can.... and 99% of the time this will work for you (anyone)

slightly pullout the center pin(contact) of the cartomizer(atty) ever so slightly.. use tweezers a precision screwdriver, finger nail.. what ever works... just remember to do it evenly around and just a tiny tiny bit... DON'T TRY TO PULL OUT COMPLETELY..

My thoughts exactly. Sounds like the center pin on the carto is just recessed a little too far and needs to be pulled out a tiny bit.

I've found that the new NaporNine Turbo Cartomizers don't work in the AFS. They don't make contact with the center pin. Anyone else experience this? If so, have you come up with a work around. I used the staple mod and it worked but was wondering if anything else will work.

That is strange because the Vapornine Turbo Cartomizers is all I use on the AFS V2 and I have had no problems at all. Matter of fact I have two of the AFS V2's and no problems on either of them with the cartos. That is very strange! My cartos have all been purchsed within the last 3 weeks up to and including this week. Interesting....I'm puzzled. Perhaps the center pole on the brass AFS connector might need a very small adjustment????

Hey Duck
I didn't think of this because I noticed the cartomizers weren't screwing down as far on the connector as others were. Guess what your solution worked. Surprise, surprise. Great tip and I hope it helps others if they run into this problem.

Thanks,
Harpo

Something else about cartomizers. The threads are usually a bit rough the first time they are screwed down on the device, even on the standard KR e-cig battery. They must really bang those things out and make em cheaply. The material is soft so they wont strip out your atty connection. You just have to work them on there sometimes. But I have also run into a few that just wound NOT screw all the way down.

Yes Imeo it worked. I use it all the time with atomizers but never thought to use this tip with cartomizers. Very simple fix.
