Dude, I just saw this for the first time! LOL I live maybe 5 minutes away from the Midlo store location. So, you are up and running there now? Did you get any Saturday hours set up? I'll definitely have to stop in!

edit: I see from a prior post that you have Sat hours.

Awesome!!!

Pretty sure he's the first legit storefront in VA....

It is 4:30am and I'm just getting back from an amazing time out with the CEO of IVape and a customer from our store who stopped by tonight for the ElixirTV show that we do every Saturday. Gotta say that the fried pretzel dunks at Bailys (spelling?) are amazing. Thanks to local support and the support of other vendors Vapors Lounge will be getting in some pretty awesome things in the coming weeks.

Oh and to finish my half asleep iPhone post... Thank you Joe from IVape for taking the time to travel to VA and check out our store and spend time with us.

Vapors Lounge Return/Replacement Policy
PLEASE READ
Vapors Lounge strives to make the customers shopping experience the best it can be. We have instituted new guidelines for returns on products sold by Vapors Lounge to keep prices low for the customer, and to increase our quality of products. As such Products Sold After Thursday, July 27, 2011 will no longer be covered under our “Full Coverage Policy”.

Returns:
e-liquid: Under NO circumstance is Electronic Cigarette Liquid returnable. This is to keep our products safe and fresh for the customer. Once purchased the e-liquid cannot be returned for Money Back, Trade or Store Credit. All Sales Are Final.
Electronic Cigarettes: Electronic Cigarette batteries, atomizers, chargers and other electronic cigarette supplies are eligible for a 30-Day replacement warranty. This replacement warranty covers factory defects. Personal damage to the electronic cigarette is NOT covered and will not be replaced, This is any damage resulting from drops, violations of instructions, personal detailing, or any other customer related actions which would cause damage to the unit. To receive your replacement within the 30-days please have a copy of your receipt or email.
Electronic Cigarette batteries are Lithium ion rechargeable batteries and as such will decrease in performance with consistent use. Over a period of several months you may find your battery to decrease in power or battery life, this is the nature of the battery and is not a defect in the batteries operation. Dismemberment of the battery due to user error is not covered in our replacement. If the battery should fail due to manufacturer error then the battery can be replaced at the discretion of Vapors Lounge.
ALL RETURNS: Any Return to the Vapors Lounge is to be carried out with a replacement if it falls under the guidelines of our return policy. There is no “Store Credit” or “Money Back” All sales are final and the product can not be returned for a refund. Vapors Lounge cannot take back any items for cash back due to health and safety, No Exceptions.

We can work with you! If you purchased a unit before the above date “Thursday, July 27, 2011” our store associates can assist you with the new return policy and aid you in replacement parts which were under a company replacement policy at the time of purchase. Please speak to a store associate for details.

Atomizers: The atomizer on an electronic cigarette is rated as a “Disposable” unit and is not meant to last for years. (average life 2-3months) As such atomizers are sold as Disposable units and cannot be returned due to damage. The LR (Low Resistance) has no warranty and can only be replace due to DOA (Dead on Arrival) any time after arrival of the atomizers in which it is not working the atomizer cannot be replaced. Standard Atomizers have a 7day (At time of purchase) replacement, if within 7days of purchase the atomizer fails to work due to manufacturing defects it can be replaced free of charge.
Atomizers come in different oHm’s and act differently due to their unique forms. As such some atomizers perform in different manners. Personal preference is not covered in our returns and dislike for an atomizer is not a reason for return. If the atomizer functions to its specific nature then the atomizer cannot be returned. Customer error which leads to destruction of the atomizer is not covered.

Money Back and Store Credit Returns: Due to the nature of these products all sales are final and there is No returns of products.

As A Customer You Agree: As a customer of Vapors Lounge you agree to the above terms. You must be 18 years or older and must read and understand the following policies. It is understood that at time of purchase you understand these terms of our return/replacement policy If there are any questions please consult an employee.

In regards to our previous posting.

Hello all William here, because of a recent increase in Fraud and in the fact that we are trying to improve on our store as well as its products there have been drastic changes in the way we handle returns and replacements.

First of all let me start off by saying that we love our customers and that we will go above and beyond to try and make your shopping experience the best we possibly can. Furthermore we could not be here today without the support of our customers and the e-cig community. We value you as not just a customer but as a friend to our store.

In the past weeks we have changed vendors and are buying more expensive products to hopefully increase our customers happiness with their electronic cigarette. We are now selling disposable electronic cigarettes which work great and mimic the 510, we also are selling the eGo-T as well as a NEW Dual Coil eGo-T. In changing vendors many of the previous replacement plans are no longer covered and we don’t think thats quite fair. So we have gone through our store and dropped all of our prices to reflect our new policies, this will allow for a cheaper replacement of parts and will hopefully give the customers wallet a break.

Why have these policies changed? We have received an overwhelming amount of ecigs, atomizers and other items from customers to find that over half of the items received were not sold by us. We have received atomizers with other company branding scratched off, batteries which are colored (we only sell black and white) and atomizers which we do not even sell. We never expected an outbreak in returns like we have received and because of this we are not able to take returns like we once did.

We have also had a drastic increase in customers damaging their own electronic cigarettes (ex: eGos in washing machines, dropped, run over, left in cars) We are more than happy to help and replace any manufacturer defects which may arise.

We do value you as a customer and I would love to hear back with any concerns you may have of these policies.

Legal Questions:
Q: I bought an electronic cigarette from Vapormaxx and they offered me a warranty... does it still work?
A: Our Vapormaxx 4081 batteries and atomizers DO HAVE A WARRANTY! if purchased before the new policies then we WILL COVER YOU! The Vapormaxx 510’s are no longer sold by Vapors Lounge and as such do not fall under any replacement policies.

Q: If i buy something and i get the wrong thing in the mail can i not return it?
A: Any issues which is our fault we will resolve! If we mess up your order your darn tootin we will replace it for you ASAP.

Q: I got some e-liquid and i think its too high/low for me can i return it for something else?
A: No, there are many health issues with the return of e-liquid. Please know what your ordering :(

Q: I got my e-cig in today and I don't like it. I want my money back.
A: We offer you a smile and a hand shake but sadly all sales are final. We will gladly try to find you something that might work better but we cannot take returns.

Q: Why No Returns?
A: Would you want to get an e-cig kit that someone used for a week and then brought back to the store? These are things that go in your mouth and who knows where else. Health and Safety is #1 and taking back used items such as these just isn't safe.

I think it was very generous of you guys to offer the return policy that you did. But like many good things in this world, there are always some trying to "get over" on everyone else, by being less than honest, or expecting something that just was never promised.

It saddens me to see you have to post this, because I'm pretty sure it's because some people have taken advantage. You guys have stepped out in the open to offer something (a B&M shop) that's pretty rare in the ecig world. I just hope you wind up making a go of it in spite of those few that try to take advantage.

:) We try and do our best for the customer simply because everyone that works at Vapors Lounge is also a Vaper and we are even all ECF members, and everyone at the store has been a customer at one point or another. YEAH we hire customers lol. We want to do good by the community and assist people best we can. It takes just a few to ruin a good thing. We understand that sure ".... happens" and just because these policies have gone into effect doesnt mean we wont still be replacing things for people the best we can :) We just want to make everyone happy... and still keep our store running lol

Sucks that people have taken advantage, but glad that you guys figured everything out and got it in writing... that way if theres ever a discrepancy, you can refer to the document thats been in place since 7/27/11 : )

We had one person who bought 10 units from us planning on selling them to people for a crazy mark up... when he found out the people he was gonna sell to just came to our store and bought them for cheap then he tried returning them... saying that "Ecigs were not for them"... all the packs had been opened... and the juice he got was half gone... lol /sigh... yeah hes mad at me :(

Hmm...I'll be stateside next month for a couple of weeks down in the Raleigh, NC area. Might have to do a little day trip up I-95 to visit you folks and check out your store.
Pretty much guaranteed I'll buy SOMETHING while there - probably will want to try some different juices. You guys have any 808 gear?
My first week back will be hectic with family dinners, license and permit renewals, motorcycle shopping, etc. but I can probably get up there the next week. Might even say "screw it" and then go on to Virginia Beach afterwards.
Must...swim...in...ocean...before...going...back...to...desert.

Thats sheisty... doesn't sound like any kind of customer I'd want in my store... good riddance!!
