@pennysmalls Unfortunately when I seem who sponsored the study I knew
that would be a hang up for a lot of people. I have decided to run with it.
I can't see any really independent researcher touching this as there is no money
in it for them. Our opponents would simply skewer the results.
As there appears to be no glaring mistakes in the results coupled with the
fact the sponsor would be taken to the cleaners for presenting a flawed study
leads me to accept it as it is.
Regards
Mike

I agree with your stance and was glad to see this study posted too. We all know how this goes though, it won't be considered legitimate, not at this time. I do think it will in time though.

In sharp contrast to hundreds of US DHHS funded activist researchers (who get paid to misrepresent their findings, scare the public, and lobby for vaping bans), Fontem Ventures has been doing excellent research (and objective communication of findings) on their vapor products.

Score one for the pro-vaping-indoor crowd. Now when I hear, "can't you wait 5 minutes to have your vape (outdoors)?" I'll respond with, "can't you wait 5 seconds for my vape particles to disappear?"

I only use cigalike devices, with clearos. IMO, any vaper using that indoors (or willing to use that) ought to be on the pro-vaping-indoor team and resisting all efforts to curtail usage. But even if some vapers are on the other side or firm policies are in place to restrict indoor use, this study just shows that you really have very little to worry about should you decide to disobey such policies, because the chances of anyone noticing / you getting caught are slim. I realize some will dislike that reasoning, but IMO, those people deserve a rebuttal argument along lines of, "do you think it is ever okay to breathe in a public place without a filter over your mouth?" Let them be on the defensive position for that and watch them wiggle and squirm to defend what in theoretically implausible to defend, but practically speaking, would be ignored by everyone with common sense.

I guess this study proves that cig-alikes suck. Right now I'm vaping a little regulated box mod with an AeroTank 2, 1.8 ohm coil, 7.8 watts and 50/50 e-juice. Against a medium dark wall with sunlight streaming in, the vapor is easily visible well beyond 10 seconds. So I doubt that this study can be replicated with 3rd generation products.
