Received my P10 today, using it to replace my eGo's since the batts are not lasting very long anymore and I wanted to get away from proprietary batteries. Very nice to have the lil brother to the P18. It is working well with the AW IMR's also. I have not tried used them with the LR atomizers, but will soon when my current atty starts dropping off. I like the heavier spring on my P18, it allows it to stand on end better, but yea takes a little more pinky power :) Got all my batts on charge and look fwd to the LR's on the new AW 2900mah 18650! BTW, thanks David for getting me the right batteries after I ordered the wrong ones!

Look fwd to this secret squirrel juice feed system next...

... And to follow up. I am getting roughly 3 hours of fairly heavy use on the IMR 10440 battery. I used one fresh batt from 7-10pm last night watching TV with the wife, vaping and drinking a beer, so fairly constant. This morning that batt got weak after a few hits. Fresh batt this morning and off to work. Took about 3 vape-breaks while on the base outside and used some at my desk when I first got in. It's 1pm and going strong. Though they don't last long like a bigger battery, the IMR 10440 is doing ok with the LR atomizer from Super-T. The batts are so small, no issue carrying a couple extras with me. Also have an extra charger at work just in case. The P10 is fitting the bill nicely versus the eGo I was using, especially since the eGo batts were starting to fade on me and they are $15+ a piece. The P10 is slimmer and just slightly longer then the eGo, and I like it better :)

I ordered my switch and 8 IMR batteries today. That makes up for the fact that Madvapes shipped me 10 lousy gray Trustfires instead of the (also gray) Ultrafires I ordered that work a lot better. My hope, based on what I have read, is that these will be much better than the batteries I should have gotten. If only these switches had been around before, I would have ordered my old friend in North Carolina a Precise instead of an Ego, but finding good batteries has been what was holding this unit back. Of course that's true of anything with a 10440 in it. Hardware upgrade? Apple could learn a few things from Super T. I was just there today using up my warranty.

They did the same thing to me and I made them send me the right ones with a self paid envelope back, but they where still wrapped in the old blue wrapper. Get them to send you some free juice for the inconvenience, that's what the offered me, and still failed to send!!!

3 Hours is pretty decent considering the size of the battery. Was this with the LR atomizer?

Yes with a brand new LR atomizer. I noticed also that it is slightly more mellow after a few uses with the same atomizer on the P10 IMR 10440 then the P18 with fresh AW 18650's. Obviously because the 18650 is able to maintain the fresh off the charger voltage longer and deliver more current. Regardless, the IMR 10440 has not gotten hot or anything when used. When the batt starts to get to weak to produce good vapor, just change it out, and that is roughly 2-3 hours. Yesterday I used the same battery all day till I got home... Course I was riding my motorcycle all day :) Skyline Drive is nice in the fall, just to crowded!

The only thing I have noticed asa distracter is that the IMR has wiggle room in the tube and if I shake it I can feel the batt move around some. Is there a way to tighten it up some? Maybe a slightly thicker O-ring?

I should have sent you an extra Oring for fitting the IMR 10440. Shoot me your address in PM and i'll get you out one. There should be NO wiggle room:) (see specifically #7) Here are the instructions to install:

Precise IMR 10440 Switch Installation:

Items needed: Ideal Noalox lubricant, Pen/Pencil, IMR Switch and included O-rings, IMR or AW 10440 battery, Precise 10440 Unit.

1. Remove top, bottom, switch and spring from your Precise.

2. Using a pencil or pen, insert the pen through the switch end of the Precise and push the pre-installed .070 thick O-ring out through the top of the Precise.

3. Place one of the included .100 thick O-rings with your IMR 10440 switch just inside the top of your Precise 10440 and utilize a battery to push the O-ring all the way down until it seats against the ledge towards the bottom of your Precise.

4. Next take the .070 thick O-ring you removed earlier and re-install it on top of the .100 thick O-ring you just installed using the same method to push it in.

5. Apply a dab of Noalox to the top of the switch where it contacts the battery. Also apply a dab of Noalox to the contact post where it contacts the top of the battery. Also, apply a dab to the atomizer contact post and atomizer threads and both the top and bottom cap threads.

6. Insert one IMR or AW 10440 battery and re-install top and the bottom shield, switch and spring. You will feel the O-rings compress down on the last ½ turn or so of your top cap.

7. If the battery still has up and down play, remove the .070 thick O-ring and replace with the extra included .100 thick O-ring.

Hi Dave,
I received my new switch today. That was quick! Anyway, installed the new o-ring as per the instructions. Put in a freshly charged battery. Fit perfect, no play or wiggle. Fired it up and got a nice "kick" out of it. This works great! Thank you so much for making this for us.
With respect,
Gwen
