New tank

I'm definitely going to get one of these. I've gone through two ProTanks from vapingme.com due to the glass separating from the lower stainless steel ring. The first one started separating and leaking right out of the box pretty much (2nd or 3rd day in use) and I had the second one for about 3 weeks before it started separating and leaking.

I fixed 'em up by carefully holding the pieces together in a padded vice and applying two coats of non-toxic glass epoxy and then one thick layer of regular 2-part epoxy but they look terrible now and I don't know how long my fix will hold.

I'm pretty confident the failures are not by my own hand as I've never dropped or mishandled them (especially my second one _because_ of what happened to the first one). I was thinking maybe it has to do with my chain-vaping and the intense heat loosens the silicone/glue/whatever that is used to hold the pieces together. Has anyone else experienced anything like this?

Anyway, the 1-piece stainless steel of the Tatroe tank will make me feel safe and happy even though I won't be able to see the juicy. I guess it's worth the price. I may wait a few weeks to see if any other vendors pick it up and start a price war, though.

Did you contact the vendor to let them know that you had defective Pro tanks? I have two and I've had them for almost 2 weeks with no problems other than the occasional burnt hit with one specific juice. I pulled a couple strands from the wick and turned all of my cup seals upside down, and now I have better flavor and not a single burnt hit with that specific juice.
