HI all,
I have been vaping for 1 week today and today is 5 days cigarette free! GO ME! I am loving all of this vaping and have found that I don't even crave a regular cigarette anymore (unless someone near me is smoking one, then I get an urge). Anyway, excited for this journey!

I do have a couple of questions, of course... One being that I just ordered a MVP 2.0 and it should be arriving today. It comes with an iclear 30, which I believe is plastic? I already prefer a glass tank. Is there one that goes best with the MVP? I am thinking of going with the Aspire Nautilus Mini, but the price is steep...how much of a difference would this make?

The MVP2.0 is a great mod at the beginning. It is well-built, tough, and power is accurate. It will last you. The Aspire Nautilus is a great, easy, clearomizer that is simple. Great flavor.

I would recommend a back-up in case the first is left on the roof of the car. Spares for everything is the mantra. Don't give yourself an excuse to buy a pack.

This forum has a LOT of hobbyists that buy very high end hardware, but 90% vape at less than 20 watts.

Glad you are switching. It may take a bit for your tastebuds to recover and get your taste back. Just keep going.

Thanks. I already have 6 of the EGO style batteries and 1 twist. I also have a iStick Mini, but I think something is wrong with it, because it won't hold a charge AT ALL. So far, I have just been pairing those with cheap CE4 clearomizers and a Kanger ProTank 3 mini. So much easier to clean the protank than the disposables! (Duh!). I appreciate all the advice!

Congrats & Kudos!
Dump the CE4's ASAP. They just plain Suck (spoken from painful experience at my Vape start as well).
Suggest looking into the Kanger SubTank Mini. I had everything possible running the gamut from ProTank 1's to Mega Tanks and they served me well but they just don't and can't hold a candle to the SubTanks. Will serve you well from where you are now Long into your Vaping future. They are Glass as you prefer too.

Whatever you decide and do, Stay The Course & Enjoy!

I don't know about where you are, but my fave B&M has all of their "premium" juice testers in various different subtanks (Kangers,Atlantis, Delta2, Arctic, etc) if anything like that is available in your area it's a great way to try the gear for free and find one you like better. I'm an RBA guy rather than subtanks, but I seem to like the Arctics and Delta2's better than Kanger or Atlantis.

Thanks to all of you...for the warm welcome, the kudos and the advice! None of my friends are into vaping and I'm in my very late 30's, so it's a lot harder to simply get advice from people who know. SO glad that I found this forum!

I actually haven't been to any local B&Ms, although I do know where they are all now, thanks to Google. I was rolling my own cigarettes, so I just went to my cheap tobacco place to look at other equipment. All of their samples are in CE4s, I didn't even think about an actual vape shop having samples in better tanks, so thanks for that! And now, time to start looking into subtanks and perhaps visit one of the local B&Ms on my lunch break!~

You cant go wrong with a Subtank thats for sure, and you have the ability to transition into rebuilding your own coils without having to buy another atty which is a nice feature of the Subtank

For me, the difference between the iClear30 (bundled with MVP) and mini Nautilus is plenty enough to justify that extra expenditure.
For me, the mini Nautilus is one of the best tanks available and doesn't perform at it's full capability on the "old" MVP v.2. This present a small problem, in a way, but as you already have the MVP it might be worth looking into something between the two tanks.
Not helpful, I admit, but certainly worth getting the right tank for the MVP on the first go. :)
