I am brand new to Cartos and LOVING it, floating in a cloud of vapor :vapor:
Questions to the vets though:

  • These fit a ton of juice - 2.5ml; how do I know I need to put more juice in? Are they going to burn if I vape them dry? (these are supposed to last many weeks)
  • Since they hold so much juice, if I am tired of one flavor, how do I change to the next? Do I vape the whole thing and top it off with the new juice? Can I take the filling off, clean and put it back on?
    if so....
  • How do you clean them?
  • If I fill a second carto with a different juice, can I keep carto #1 full, aside? Or do I need to empty/clean and store it?
  • Do large cartos consume more batteries?
  • When filling, how do I know they are full?
I think that's it for now... at least that I can think of.... Thanks and sorry for all the question friends!

When they dry they wont hit as well and you'll lose flavor. If you feel its not hitting right or there is not enough flavor.. pop the top off and look. It should look slushy, not dry. If you run it dry they will "burn" and taste like crap. I hear you can replace the filler, but I have yet to try it. I think once its apart, its broke... they are cheap enough to be somewhat disposable. You can boil em! There are many different ways folks clean em around here. To change flavor, vape one out... and add new juice. You can fill cartos and leave them aside... nothing will happen to them. I make sure I put the rubber deals back on, just to ensure it doesn't dry out. Dual coils may drain a battery faster... but the regulars shouldn't. When its slushy its full, blow out access and make sure you can see thru it before putting on.

I'm new to cartos, but flavor-stacking seems to be an alright idea, as long as you stick to "flavor groups". (I mix my arctic ice and peach all the time). I can't imagine vaping peach dry, then adding Snickerdoodle! :vapor: I love these cartos!

For storing, just put on the caps that were originally on them and you're good to go!

Any cartomizer will burn if you vape them dry. When the flavor, vapor, or fist hint of a burnt taste hits, top off immediately.

Since they hold so much juice, if I am tired of one flavor, how do I change to the next? Do I vape the whole thing and top it off with the new juice? Can I take the filling off, clean and put it back on?

You can use a reverse tyrin spin to remove the remaining juice. I clean mine by boiling (no plastic ones) then use an ultra sonic jewelry cleaner with plain water. Put in food dehydrator and turn on high for 12 hours.

If you don't want to do all that, just use the reverse tyrin spin and refill with a different juice but it might take you several refills to vape the old flavor out. Also, some flavors like cinnamon, mints, menthols won't completely come out so make sure you mark what is what.

If I fill a second carto with a different juice, can I keep carto #1 full, aside? Or do I need to empty/clean and store it?

Yes you can...put the condoms back on it. I fill about 25-50 cartos at a time for work.

Do large cartos consume more batteries?

Depends on the resistance. The lower the resistance, the faster your batteries will drain. Capacity has nothing to do with battery life.

When filling, how do I know they are full?

They will look slushy. Boge take 20-25 drops to fill a new carto and 15 to top off. I don't know what size you have but as a rule of thumb, 20 drops is 1ml. The fastest way to fill is by a syringe but I drip directly into the top at a 45 degree angle.
