How long can you use a carto?

Well I have the boge 510 LR cartos and I have about 5 that I prefill the night before. The next day, I rotate thru those 5 and may occasionally top one off. I "think" this keeps them from overheating too much.

This "batch" of cartos typically last about 10 or so days.
One may quit before the 10 days , usually chocolate makes it die before it's time.

I don't clean them, I trash them after they quit...
Many clean them, but not worth the effort to me and the new ones do soooo well.

I use a carto until I notice that older juice is getting too crystallized around the center hole. That's usually about 2 weeks or so. I chuck it and open a new one. Not worth the hassle of cleaning and the one time I did clean a cartomizer the filling material shrunk after drying. Cartomizers are a consumable item as far as I'm concerned.
