Ok I just ordered an artisan kit with the following Flavor Apprentice Professional Flavors.
Bavarian Cream, Cheesecake, Clove, Pineapple, Root Beer, Strawberry, Sweetner, tobacco Flavor.
I was wondering if some of these flavors may need the sweetner I ordered.

I know that the clove usually needs a tobacco flavor as it tastes like cooking clove instead of clove cigarettes. Also bavarian cream is usually a hard flavor for most people to get right I have found.

Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

Loranns bavarian cream is very good but you can get it at ecigexpress.
TPA bavarian cream is not bad but Lorann's is better.
You may have to use some sweetener at times but I normally just use EM (ethol maltol) don't know if I spelled that right.

Good luck and there is lots of help here in the DIY section

Blakd,

The use of Sweetener is very subjective. I would highly recommend that you start with your base flavoring and test it. If it needs sweetener, then add in just a few drops per 3-5ml of your flavored juice at a time as the sweetener can sweeten really fast!

What I like to do when trying new flavors, is start with 5ml at say 10% flavoring and then test it. Then follow your taste buds, if the flavor is light add a percent or two (make sure to take notes on everything you add to your bottle) and then blow my atty out, take a drink of water with lemon or cleanse my pallate in some way and test with the added flavoring. Once I get the flavor proportions right if I feel it needs sweetener, I will do the same process as above with the sweetener. Adding one drop per 5ml test batch of flavored liquid per try until I get it how I like it :)

If you need help, we are always here.. email or just a phone call away! :) the most important rule in mixing your own is there is no rules.. just have fun!

Wendallb, we have Loranns Bavarian Cream also and we charge a good bit less for Loranns then they do :)
