Diving in head first, I ordered my first nicotine base today from wizard labs. I was notified that the nicotine was in stock and wanted to make sure that I got some before it sold out again. I have a few questions.

1. I ordered 500ml of 100mg/ml VG nicotine. How toxic is this stuff really? I get some on my skin and its a trip to the E.R.? Or wash it immediately and I'll be fine?

2. I am obviously going to dilute it, but to what extent? I wanna get it to 24mg/ml because thats as potent as I will ever use, but do I go 50/50 PG/VG out of the gate to have a "neutral" base?

3. I plan on diluting what I will use, then freezing the rest. What is the freezing point of 100% VG, 100mg/ml nicotine base? I have a deep freeze(ice chest) that gets pretty darn cold...

Thanks in advance for any and all input!

P.S. Looking for a good way to set up my "laboratory" so that it is efficient and also very neat and convenient. I see too many videos of people leaning over their counter top and cramped up under some cupboard. Or at their dinner table with piss-poor lighting, just begging to drip this stuff on their nice table and ruin the varnish. There has to be a better way... Post me a pic of your mixing station!

1. Wash it off right away and you should be fine.
2. Enter some sample recipes in one of the calculators, using various pg/VG ratios and nicotine concentrations as your base and see what the rest of the numbers look like. That will give you an idea of what sort of dilution and pg/VG ratio to shoot for in your working base.
3. I don't know what the freezing points are. Pg has a low freezing point (which is what makes it good as a non-toxic antifreeze). I don't know about VG. My pg nic doesn't freeze, just gets thick. Have to leave it out for a few hours before I work with it.

I mix in my bathroom. I have kids, so I don't want to keep stuff anywhere they can reach it. There is a sink, towels, tissues, the counters are easy to clean, and there is lots of good light. It's no space age lab, but it's good enough for mixing things up.

I said pics son! J/K
Thanks for the input. The bathroom might not be a terrible idea. If you have to pee, ur golden. I however do not have kids so I can just leave toxins wherever I want. Jealous yet?
If you could mix in any other room other than the bathroom, where would you? I don't wanna have to rush because my girlfriend is scared to poop in front of me after 7 years and we only have one bathroom. I was thinking about the garage but I don't want the neighbors thinking I got a .... lab in there when I open the door plus, it gets pretty swampy here this time of year. Mudbutt is a concern I take rather seriously... No one wants to be the guy with adult diaper rash

I'm not going to show you pictures of my bathroom, lol. It's got a nice big counter though (at least after I clean off all my husband's stuff, well... I guess I should admit I have somemstuff too) so that's a plus. I keep all my juice things in boxes either up high or in a lock box in my bathroom closet, so all I have to do is pull them down. I think not leaving stuff laying around does help keep me a little more organized. No in identified bottles of this or that laying around.

I would definitely do it somewhere that there is a sink, so for me that would leave the kitchen or the basement. The basement is dank and filled with pottery stuff. I don't want clay dust and glaze chemicals in my juice. Or spiders. If I didn't have kids to worry about I guess I'd do it in the kitchen.

If I was going to set up an ideal mixing spot this is what I would have: a sink, a large counter, a couple of shelves above the counter for storing juice, flavors, and VG/pg, and a small freezer. And good lighting. Maybe a little stand for a notebook or ipad for recipes and calculations.

I have a hidden lab to work on all my DIY stuff - I access it by pushing my notebook forward and away from me. When I'm done, the secret lab disappears when I pull my notebook back into its place  over the last couple of weeks, I've made enough juice to supply the whole neighborhood for a one week non stop vapefest
