New to e-cigs. Need help identifying one I bought

I recently was turned onto e-cigs by a friend of mine. I ended up buying one at a local smoke shop, but I'm not sure which one it is.

So far I am pretty happy with it other than shoddy construction on the carts (Some are under filled with the wicking material) and the battery life is a little shorter than I would have expected but it really gives me that throat hit I like so much.

It appears to be an RN-4081 but I wanted a more experienced eye's opinion before I buy any accessories. Pardon the crappy pictures as I used my cell phone.

So what do you all think? Is it an RN-4081? If not did I buy a pig in a poke?

Thanks!

+1 for the blue foam mod.

Batteries are rated by the Mah of the battery and the rule of thumb is 1hr of charge for every 100mah of battery. So, I think the standard 510 is 280mah that would give you approx 2.8hrs before having to recharge. The larger eGo/Riva 510 batteries are:
eGo 650mah = 6.5hrs
Riva 750mah = 7.5hrs
eGo 900mah = 9hrs

Naturally, this varies with how much you vape but I've found it to be pretty right.

Somewhere in time.
Think the standards are 160/180 maybe-kr8 is standard 280 and lasts MUCH longer.

The 901 is the same as the KR808D-1 fitting, and not what's in the OP's pictures. The 901 atty and cartos are female connections with male ends on the battery. The pics shown are female on the battery and male on the atty/cartos. I can't tell what connection (510, 401, 301, etc) because of the pic being blurry.

Yeah, all I can tell you is that it is defiantly NOT a 901, or any other male end batt, lol. I would suggest you go to a web site that carries all models and compare pics. Then, if there is still any confusion, just buy a couple of cheap conversions to be absolutely sure b/f you go and buy a bunch of parts. Lots of sites to pick from on the bottom of the main forum page.

Good luck :)

Hi BigNed here,, I am 99.9 percent sure about it being a 901 just from the pic., I had a Kit that looked just like it

That is definitely not a 901, it looks like a generic 510.
The 901/808 batts have male threading and the 510/4081 have female threading.

I'm guessing you didn't get a manual in there indicating if it is a Joye?
Those white boxes they arrive in should have "510" in small print on one of the corners.

You could also take a look here and see if you can match the atty up:

Looking at the pictures I think it's a 510. From what I'm seeing the 4081 has an exposed bridge (Hope that's the right term) where as the 510 has it shrouded? If that's the case then yes it's a 510.
