Welcome Vaping_Irishguy :)

I don't fiddle much with RDAs, but the ones I have, I pretty much stick with single-coil builds (my fat fingers have a hard time doing duallies in a 3-post RDA - need ta find a 4-post to make it a little easier for me)

Have you built before? If so, start with something similar. When you get a few more posts in, you can venture to the Rebuildables section. Lots of cool coil configurations I've seen over there. My extent of "wild 'n' crazy" was to do a 4-strand 30g twisted wire in a single coil. Landed about 0.5Ω, and I'm running that in one of my Atomics right now.

PSA: If you haven't built before, take a gander at blogs by the user Baditude. He's a great resource for batteries and safety (i.e. Ohm's and Watts Laws.)

It really depends on what kind of vape you want. Are you looking for flavor or clouds (or both?)

Anyway, welcome and good luck!

And PLEASE - get yourself a good ohmmeter!!!!!!!! I *ALWAYS* test my builds before I fire them (even on regulated mods). I just want to make sure nothin's gonna go "SPLAT" :D Then I'll fire before wicking to make sure I'm getting an even glow on the coil. I had a couple of pretty builds, but they weren't firing evenly, so I knew they would not be good to vape on.

Building can be quite a bit of fun. Sometimes frustrating - wicking is the hardest to get down pat. If I can finally get it figured out, no doubt you will too!

24 KANTHAL, I have a 150w seligi with a plume veil clone. I was using a eleaf 30w with an Atlantis sub ohm tank prior to this. I don't want to warm of a hit but would like good vapor production. So I'm open to any suggestions that anyone might have.

If you liked the warmth from the .5 ohm Atlantis atomizer then you could try building to that resistance.

with the eleaf i was only able to get to 30w. what do you think I could go up to without it getting to warm?

Maybe about the same, but the truth is that what I like you may not like. The best thing to do is to dive in head first and see what you like. Start with what you're familiar with and take it from there.

With 150W at hand I would go for a 1.2 ohm build, using 24G thats about 13 wraps around a 3mm rod for a single coil, start with a low wattage and increase it until you find your sweet spot. Remember that as you increase the wattage and therefore heat, you need to increase the airflow. Once you hit 40-50 watts you will probably need your airflow wide open. Remember the Plume Veil has three airflow sections, top bottom and sides.

Incidentally, what batteries are you using in the Sigelei?
