Hi everyone, lil bit about me.... a 17yr smoker, a pack a day. Was a spur of the moment that I started vaping.I went to the local Rez to get analogs($20 a carton there instead of $10 a pack) Took a look at the ego's they had figured why not try one..Bought the cheapest on they had and a couple flavors of juice...I have to admit I did buy a carton of analogs just incase it didnt satisfy me(normally get 5 though). Loved it from the 1st try..

That cheap ego lasted me about 4 days..went for an upgrade, still not really knowing anything about the whole vaping merchandise i listened to the owner of the store and I left with a Mini Protank II and a 900 pass thru ego battery( I drive a truck for a living so it saved me from needing a to buy a 2nd battery...well for now anyway) I love it.. Eventually will want to do diy liquid. There are lots of vap stores popping up in my area, figured for now will experiment with there juices

The rez trip was dec.3 havent had a analog since, vaping is great

Hi and welcome to ECF,

Congratulations on quitting smoking, that is awesome! I would recommend picking up a 2nd battery anyway, just so that you have one if something should go wrong. The biggest single key factor in vaping is BACKUPS. Everything fails eventually, keeping a spare on hand is the best piece of advice I can give anyone. I can't tell you how many times having a backup kept me from going back to smoking. You should always have a spare battery, spare tank, spare coil, and spare juice on hand.

HTH!

Congratulations and welcome! $20/carton!? Wow, that's cheap, although I wouldn't go back to analogs if you paid me.

That pass-through will definitely come in handy while on the road. Certainly consider a second battery, just in case (dropped it/broke it/lost it/etc). Nice to hear about vape stores becoming more and more prevalent. More vaping=less smoking=vapin' paradise, right?

Welcome to ECF, and congrats on quitting smoking! I second having back ups. Things happen, especially when you're dealing with liquids and batteries. I've had to rely on mine a couple of times. I have my two favorite clearos filled with my two favorite juices, and a bunch of spare, cheap, filled clearos with me for work each day. A) I like switching flavors around. B) I can't fiddle with a leaking clearo at work, so I've got back ups for my back up.

Congrats and welcome, at least you bypassed the cig-a-like devices. An ego is a good entry level to sample vape with. Now that the vape bug has bitten you, make sure to research everything out and see what is available in the world of vape before your next upgrade/purchase. There are just so many options and ways to vape that it can become confusing and knowledge can save one $$ in the long run.

Vape long and Prosper!!
