New to ECF, not so new to vaping

Figured it was about time to stop lurking and get an account.

Mechs to Regs, doesn't matter to me, I've got a bit of each. I also build my own wire, use pre-made wire, even rock a sub-ohm every once and a while when I'm lazy. Nothing super fancy, I go for flavor.

I tend to take lots of macro shots of my builds, and new stuff I get in, so maybe I can help with the vape and coilporn around these parts...

I also have a bad habit of dissecting my mods. *for the lawyers: I'm well trained, others that are new to vaping and electronics folks should avoid dissecting anything vape related.*

Right now... My Note 9 phone + 20x macro clip on. I used to have a D7200 Nikon, but had to sell it. I'm actually looking at the Ricoh WG-60, it's got LEDs around the lens bezel so it illuminates directly for macro shots, they claim 1cm distance from the object. I mostly just like macro shots, it shows a world mostly ignored.

I have a Cannon Rebel SLR and a couple of removeable SLR zoom lenses. The 28 - 105mm has a macro feature, and I have a 2x converter and a couple of screw on magnifying lenses that are 1.5x and 2x. I can fill a frame the size of a penny should I wish. Used mostly for flowers and insects shots. I keep saying that I will get back into photography...

Slippery slope though... vaping vs. photography I think they cost the same?

I think we have to stop talking to each other now because you're like... into Canon... I'm more of a Nikon kinda guy... Nah, I've got no problem with Canon. I remember my old Pentax SLR, 35mm, push knob to advance the film. I forget the lens brands, that was like 15 years ago now (makes me feel old when I typed that) Just a Pentax though, nothing real fancy.

The cool thing is if you get back in now, everything's digital, you have a Linux box or even Windows you can download a FREE lightroom replacement called darktable, use gimp instead of photoshop, inkscape if vectors are your thing. Man, I need to get back into photography now too... ahhhhhhh

Hello and welcome. I'm impressed with the phone and clip on lens. I went the cheap route and have a Sony SLR with a couple different lens.
