New to eCigs...

Well I was going to do a review on some eliquids and my eGo but apparently I have to have >5 posts in this section before I'm allowed to post elsewhere..

It's been a few days since I've bought a pack of cigarettes (vs daily) and have been experimenting with liquids and cartomizers since I ran out of my stock eGo tobacco cartridges. I've got several photos and some decent ideas for reviews ready, just gotta post ..... a bit to get access to the review section.

Well, welcome aboard! I have an eGo too and LOVE IT! Started out with the blu, and like most other people, found it didn't live up to the hype. Being a heavy smoker, I needed something that lasted for more than 5 minutes without crapping out on me. lol

Glad you are enjoying your vaping experience! Can't wait to see your reviews.

You could welcome a couple of people. And it's 5 posts or replies and wait about an hour for your status to update.

Cartridges and cartos (up to a point) can be refilled. You ran out? I refill even carts that came prefilled. I think I am still using my first cart. It's getting a bit loose and I replaced the stuffing with blue foam so it still works.

Ejuice - I just started getting into vanillas instead of tobacco. I actually vaped vanilla all day at work yesterday - that's a first.

I never really got into the tobaccos. I went straight for the sweet flavors and fell in love. lol
But, YMMV. Everyone is different, and it takes a lot of trial and error to figure out what works best for you as opposed to what worked best for someone else.

How are you liking the blue foam, dormouse? I'm thinking of trying it out. Been dripping and using cartos, not really enjoying the fluval anymore.

You may want to take it easy on juice reviews for a while. While giving reviews is always fine, just realize that as your taste buds come back, your juice preferences may change. Juice you find you do not like now you may end up loving, and juice you like now may not be satisfactory to you later.

Yeah, before I moved last month, one of my friends there had the Blu and as I was trying it, it died and he said he just charged it.. So I knew I didn't want to deal with that. Thankfully I found this site and picked out a decent unit.

Plus an additional benefit I didn't think of when it comes to the eGo is no "cherry" LED at the end.. I actually vaped in a movie theatre just to see if I could do it.. Worked out great thanks to having only one LED on the power button.

Well, I ran through the stock carts pretty quickly and realized I gotta fix that.. So I just went all out and bought cartos and some liquids. I damaged 4 of the cartos tonight though trying to clean them (water was too hot) but that just meant I had to order two boxes of the VaporKing LR 510 cartos. Darn.

I bought an array previously from The Vapor Room: Blueberry Cinnamon Crumble (which I truly dig and glad I got it as the free 15ml first order promo), Apple Pie (decent), Cherry (much more "medicine-ish," not sweet as I was expecting), RY4 (I'm still playin with this one), Peanut Butter Cookie (tasted kinda like stale peanut butter--imagine those peanut butter and cheese crackers, just a bit drier and older), and finally Chocolate Fudge Brownie (horrible, imo, tasted of straight dark cocoa with a weird end and aftertaste)

I just finished placing an order with FSUSA as I was writing this for samplers of: AppleWood, Baby-Back-Ribs, Banana Nut Bread, Caramel Cinnamon Bun, French Toast, Hypnotic Mist, Orange Cream Sicle, oRYental 4 flavor, RockingChair, Sunrise Specialty Tobacco, Thin Mint Cookie, and Wyatt Earp Signature Cowboy

Yeah, I'm addicted already ;D

I picked up some tobacco liquid tonight just to have something to "cleanse" my palette and reset me. Plus I already miss just having a "normal" smoke...
