Hi everyone I just joined ECF today, and I have a problem I need help !
I purchased an eGo LED battery to go with a Smoktech DCT Tank system which came with a cartomizer to fit it and a drip tip. I filled up the Tank and charged the eGo LED batt, screwed them together, everything is set to go AANNDDD ... it doesn't work ? I was informed that any eGo battery and higher will work fine with the DCT so thats why i purchased the eGo LED, but it either just doesn't work or the battery is faulty. I own a standard Joye 510 which works like a charm, and i tried the eGo battery on the 510 and again, nothing. Does anybody know why the DCT tank system isn't working with the eGo LED battery ? Or is there something i'm doing wrong ?

I would suggest a couple of troubleshooting techniques to pinpoint where the problem lies. First try the battery with another carto or atty. If that doesn't work then the problem is with the battery. If the battery has an on-off feature, make sure it is turned on. If the problem is not with the battery, then it may be the cartomizer. It is possible that the carto is not making a connection with the battery. I've never personally had it happen, but some folks have mentioned having to carefully pull the center pin out a bit with a pair of tweezers or whatever in order to make their carto have contact.
