hey guys, this is probably the first and only time I'll say I am proud to be a noob. so I recently bought a starter kit from myfreedomsmokes.com (got it on Saturday). It was a cheapo got the reg usa juice, harbor menthol and whiskey honestly not impressed with the juices. so I placed two orders on juices, one at mtvapors the other at lucky 7s fingers crossed. the little starter I got is great I am sure there's better products but it works for 10 bucks I wont complain. so far its on the fourth day I cant stand the smell of a real cig now, or taste. I am proud to say I am quitting smoking. a month ago I said it wasn't going to happen. being 23 and smoking for 13 years I figured it was time because there was no benefit in it. thank you everyone for all the reviews I have read and the experiences. Its all because of this great community to which I can say I am now done with cancer sticks. If any one has recommendations on things I should try please speak up, whether it be hardware juices anything I am here to listen and take notes.

Congrats on the decision to switch!

I recently (as of this past January) made the switch myself. I began with Blu e-cigs and they were a good jumping off point. Personally, the similarity to the real thing (in holding, at least) helped to foster a full switch almost immediately. However, it wasn't more than a month before I wanted something a bit more sturdy with a much longer lasting battery.
Being still a bit of a "noob" myself, I have only upgraded to an Itaste vv 3.0 so far. It was likely the best move I could have made for the money.

My biggest recommendation would be to try to find a vape store within driving distance of where you live. The wonderful thing about going into a store (I went to an AltSmoke, which is a fantastic store) is the ability to try different flavors before you buy them. It makes it a lot better than guessing what you will or wont like.

That definitely makes it a bit more difficult, to say the least. Though, if you are ever travelling for any reason; it might be worth it to see if there are going to be any shops nearby. When I was able to go to one, it was only because I was passing through on a trip to somewhere else entirely. The shop was an hour away from my home; so much like you, I wasn't going to make a long journey only to go to a single store.

so yeah another fail for flavors went to the store to get beer and to my surprise they had e juices for 4.25 all i can say is a waste the lable says vapor x....i bought 2 flavors one is vanilla the smell is amazing so i let the wick soak for a second and dragged, it was a hot vapor seemed like it was tasting ok, i exhaled threw my nostrils and yuck the smell/taste of perfume. disappointed figured it would be a quick and decent fix while i wait for shipments. i will never get this again. i put it away to steep just in case. but yeah as a recommendation stay away from vapor x, it was very per-fumy, the original tobacco is basically the same just yuck.
and the kit i have is the evod 650 blister starter from myfreedomsmokes i love the thing.

Congratulations on your decision and welcome to the forum. I'm glad you ordered from Mt. Baker Vapor as well as Lucky 7. Lucky 7 has some nice juice, I've heard, but they are a new shop and have gotten far behind in their orders and are very slow to ship out.

Mt. Baker has it all together and you should have your juice soon. Hope you like it!:)

Welcome to the forums, and congrats on being smoke free... If there's ANY concerns you have about ecigs, just post them. Doesn't matter how silly or strange it is, just as long as you're vaping and happy, all's good.

Same goes for any recommendations. If the evod setup works for you, there's no need to buy anything different. Maybe a second battery to vape while the other one charges, but there's no need for anything else.

The next step up IMO would be a larger variable voltage battery. If you find you're wanting a bit more, you might want to look into that. But the setup you have works fine and is very portable.

I like Mt Baker vapor myself. I like the fruity blends. Guava is my main juice, but I also like to mix some banana, strawberry, and blueberry into the mix to keep a constantly changing palette... (yes, you can mix the flavors) The hardest part, is to find some flavors you really like. If you can, find a local brick and mortar store. Chances are, they have a variety of juices for you to try to see what you like.

Ahh, for that perfume smell.... You'll get that from Mt Baker Vapor as well. It happens on some flavors, and yes, steeping is required. for the perfume smell to go away, I shake it up, take the cap AND the tip off the bottle if I can, and leave it opened. The stronger the perfume smell, the longer I put it out to steep. One day is a minimum, usually 3-4 days is about what it takes. Once (or more if you like ) per day I put the cap on and shake it Hopefully that taste will go away.
