A friend of mine started vaping a few weeks ago and showed me this forum. I decided it's time to me to quit the analogs and start vaping. I love the idea! I actually smoked Eclipse for a couple years and they were fun to explain to people.....then the coupons ran dry, they became very expensive, so I went back to analogs. My brother actually turned me on to vaping years ago. He had one of the early models that just used PG, no nic....so I didn't much see the point. So, here I am today, I just ordered a 510 kit and a bottle of "virginia" from Madvape.com. Let's see what happens!
The whole vape thing really interested me as a chemist of 23 years. Based on what little I've read so far, I'm convinced that I can prepare my own PG/flavor/nic mix in the lab. I just have a question because it's not clear:
When they advertise a juice has, for example, 25 mg nic, where do they get that number? I'd like to know the concentration in the juice, is it 25 mg/mL? The numbers seem high as nicotine is usually measure in µg (micrograms) and not mg (milligrams).
Thanks!
