Hi everyone. I'm new to the forum but I've been vaping for awhile. I had a rough start with vaping. I didn't know this then, but when I first started vaping I was using too low of nicotine and I got frustrated so I went back on those other things to feel normal. So I kept on smoking, for months and figured, oh well I guess vaping just isn't for everyone . Then I had a medical thing happen and I was determined to quit smoking, plus the doctor was relentless with the stop smoking lectures. So I tried again and raised my nic level and I have not gone back. I am so thankful to the inventor of these awesome devices and to my wonderful vendor. I love vaping so very much and having access to all of you on this forum is literally priceless. So Hi! everyone.

Welcome to ECF Linda! Happy to hear that you've finally been able to kick the cancer sticks! I also had a hard go of it for the first couple of weeks, until I was able to figure out what I needed to do. Joining this forum has been priceless for me and I am always telling my new to vaping friends where I live about this place. ANYTHING you need to know about vaping can eventually be answered here and if you are having a hard time kicking analogs, there's tons of supporters here to help you get over them! Once again, welcome and good vaping :)

Finding the right nic level was such a pleasant epiphany. Honestly, I’d read about all these people happily vaping away and all the reports of two weeks tobacco free, 3 months with not one cigarette, 1,000’s of days since last analog, tons of money saved. I was all scared to vape higher than 11 mg thinking –I don’t know what I was thinking but I do know I felt discouraged and disheartened and then! Well, hello 24 mg! The rest is history, so thanks everyone and hang in there trumbum sounds like you’re nicely on your way.
Angus! thank you for your help and patience and learnin’ me about all them :rules:

hey jj, i dont know if you would be able to answer this.......im new to the entire vape scene, i just got a kr808d-1 and i put it in the charger for almost 8 hours......after that, i took it out and put the cartomizer in....hit it and it shut off after 5 seconds and then flashed 3 times....what does that mean???

Trum....I think you're more apt to get help with your problem if you start your own post asking this question instead of hijacking someone elses *not trying to be mean here*

From what I understand, that is probably a safety cutoff for the cartomizer (so it doesn't burn up - or burn up the filling material).

The book that came with the device may have more specifics, but that is my guess.

Linda, you are getting on the right track. Do try out different favor to give u yourself the best vaping favor and experience.
For me after vaping for 8 months, I don't even have craving for tobacco. For now when I feel like to vape for fun. Is not really a must for a person to vape to live on. I don't have the nicotine craving anymore.
Like what you have say, thank to the inventors and the innovator.
