Hello all.

First thing first i have been VERY impressed with this forum. every thread and review i have read everyone has been very polite and honest. Having a polite and invested community has really helped sorting through all the mountains of info.

I have been analog free since Dec, 30 and haven't felt better about it after trying most of the quitting products out there.

Started out with a Cig2.0 from a local smoke shop to try it out and have since got myself a halo g6 and am loving it. Already thinking about upgrading to a kGo or the like primarily for battery life which leads into my questions....

I have some money coming in from a vacation payout after taking a new job. I have watched alot of reviews etc... and was wondering if going into the e/k/t-Go c/t/efghijk models as a first step further into vaping was the way to go or jump right into the deep end with vv mods and skip what seems to be the middle step was too big a step for a noob. i guess its subjective but just interested in opinions.

Secondly juice flavors.... after seeing reviews on a few specific juices and brands i have a few i really want to try (boba's, BWB ry4, ectoplasma etc...). I got a sample pack of halo flavors along with my g6 and love the tribeca and tiki.
I tend to gravitate towards menthol flavors and fruit with tobacco. Was wondering if there are any suggestions along those lines that people would suggest. Apple tobacco, a solid menthol with or without tobacco, and maybe a black and mild/pipe flavor.

thanks

I like a good mod, myself. I still use my eGo stuff, but my mod is my daily PV. I like that I can buy replacement parts if something fails, battery replacement is cheap, and the looks and quality are great. Of course, you have to decide what kind of mod you would want, as there are a lot of different choices.

The Kgo is a good kit, but there are a lot of issues with the eGo-t tank systems. Some people love it, but a lot have issues with dry hits and leaking.

For menthol: Halo is a great place to get menthol juices. For great applewood, cherry, and other great tobacco flavors, try Backwoods Brew. Not sure about fruity flavors, but many like Mrs. T's Bakery.

Ten four on a great forum, lots of good information and people to provide it.
I started out with an Ego-T on November 26, after a couple weeks went for the Provari, a couple weeks later the VmodXL, I use them all dont have a favorite, the Ego-T is a great starter (it was for me).
Jump in take the plunge, spend some of that retirement money early.
Oh and havent even wanted an analog since the first day.

I think really you'll hear both sides. Some go right to an expensive VV mod but personal I don't think it's necessary. I'm not saying you shouldn't bc VV is really nice but I don't think it's an absolute necessity to get the vape you desire.
For some people, around 3.7V is a perfect vape for them and they don't need more.
Personally I use an Epower, which is similar to a kGo but uses non-proprietary batteries. With the Epower I've completely gotten off cigs and it has given me everything I need. So for me, I don't need to drop a bunch of money on an expensive mod to get the vape I want. I'm perfectly content with my Epower, and didn't need to get a VV device. If I ever do buy something else, it's not because I'm not happy with my Epower or it's not enough, it would purely be bc I want to try something else.
So my answer is yes, VV is really nice, but I dont think it's an absolute necessity to achieve your ideal vape. But everyone's different, you might need that extra oomph

For juice check out BlueMist Vaping. They are a great vendor for someone that wants to try a bunch and find out what they like. They have a huge selection, over 250 juices and really great prices. $5 for 10 and $10 for 30ml. They also offer sample packs which I recommend you get. You can pick your own samples so you can try the juices you want to try. I would get the 3ml samples so you can get a few packs and try a bunch for cheap. You can get all their juices in either 80/20 PG/VG or 100%VG. I recommend 80/20. They also offer extra flavor shots for .50cents more and if you find a juice you really like you can get a 180ml bottle for $30, which is an absolutely awesome deal

SWEET HOME ALABAMA
I came to this forum after being on the VF for about 2-3 months. I was always getting negative responses or
people just being smartasses. (Rude) I have goofed up a lot over here. (Just today: asked why I couldn't start a thread in classifieds. Answer was on first page!! DAH) They just posted my anwser and left the sarcastic s**t to themselves.
I like it better over here. People here are more helpful too.
thanks ECF

I did jump right in with VV and I shouldn't have. Some of us need to learn how to vape and what carto's and atty's (ohm's)are used on which volt. I didn't know about all the ohm's and volts not being good together. So I wasted alot of money burning up atty's and cartomizers. Also they tast terrible if you have the wrong volts with 3.0ohm and if you use LR don't go above 4 volts. I didn't know any of that. So I put my VV away till I learned about the LR, SR and HV.
Take your time to learn everything first. I wish I had.
