Just signed up for forums today. Saying hi to everyone. I just started vaping recently and am using a KR8. I first started on a unit i bought at 7-11 and that unit wasnt all that good. Tried a 510 ego and didnt care for the throat hit or the flavor. Was intrested in maybe trying a 5v unit was wondering if I could get some suggestions on what would be good.

Welcome to ECF. Never tried the KR8 but like the 510 especially w/the ego type batt.
the throat hit can be due to the pg/vg mix along w/the flavor, nic level and the wattage of the device
try a sample kit of juices of varying mixes to find that sweet spot we all look for
you may want to look at some of the varible voltage models too
good luck and vape happy :)

Before getting a new PV, try different juices with different levels of PG/VG and different flavors. Vaping will never give you the same TH as smoking does because you're not inhaling burning chemicals. So if that's what you're expecting to experience, a different mod probably won't help.

Like Liv2Ski said, it would help to know what you don't like about the TH. Was it too much or not enough? Also the type of atomizer you're using could be the cause, so if you could let us know what type of atty you're using, we might be able to help there as well.

Sorry for not being clear before. I didn't think the TH was strong enough on the 510 atty and the flavor just seems to be a dry vape if that make any sense. Most of my friends prefer the 510 over the KR8 since they think the KR8 TH is too much so I guess its all in personal pref. I did try a LR atty on the KR8 and that was really nice. I think it was a 901 LR atty. It was my fav until I lost it :(.
