Welcome! Well, that is a very subjective question and I am sure many people will give you lots of different opinions. There are also lots of good RDA's out there. Some are easier to build coils with and other have deeper wells and will hold more drops. Still others excel at more airflow....... I use a Kennedy Competition RDA and it is designed for chucking clouds. But compared to some RDA's it certainly is not the best and is somewhat difficult to build on. So, I will let others give you their recommendations. Welcome aboard!

Pretty much anything. Do you want a rebuildable tank, or a dripper? For tanks, Delta 2 with the rba is my favorite, they are 15 bucks at vaporbeast right now I just got another one. Lemo 2 is also really good, or the subtank mini, or the uwell crown, smok tfv4, Cloupor Z4, freemax starre and a ton more.

For drippers, the magma is pretty fool proof, or the Nova n22 which I've seen on ebay for 10 bucks recently. Theres the dark horse, plume, freakshow, and a plethora of others.

Well if you're building your own, it's all up to you. I listed out some airy subohm tanks since that's what you're using now. The most important thing is that you're happy :) and the only way to he happy is to experiment and find what you like. There's so many review and build videos on YouTube to guide you in a good direction. Building isn't hard and rtas have come a long way.

So basically I can get any kind I want. But the most important thing for me is the ohms of my coil right?

The MOST important thing is to make sure you got a quality battery in the thing and also make sure it is of high continuous current rating. After getting that, then you can figure out what resistance of coil you want to use but you have to use ohms law to make sure that you do not create a coil that draws too much current from your battery.

Ok so for example my tesla 2 battery says it is 4.2 volts and 40A. And lowest resistance is 0.1 ohms. Max power 100W. So I'm supposed to divide my volts by my ohms of the coils I make and that number has to be lower than my 40A to be safe. Does that sound right?

First of all never trust what is printed on a battery as they usually inflate the rating to make sales. Yes, if you divide the voltage by the resistance (0.1) ohms you will get 42 amperes, which exceeds the rating of your battery........ Actually your battery is probably a 20A battery. You want to keep the maximum current flow below that 20A value in order to be fairly safe.

Ok so if I made a 0.3 or 0.4 ohm cool then I'd be safe

That's what the manufacturer rates it at in their specs but going that low (0.1) is pushing it but should be within its abilities. 0.3 or 0.4 is completely fine.
Ok cool. Good thing I talked about this with someone before I tried to build one lol...I wouldn't wanna waste all that money and blow up my hand in the process

Good idea.... You are dealing with LOTS of current when it comes to these vaping coils and so it can be dangerous if a person has too small of a battery and builds their coils with too low of a resistance.

Thanks for all the help! But while I asking questions I have one more.. What size kanthal wire would be good for building coils?

Haha yeah that's why spending a few bucks on something good pays off in the long run.

Your mod has short protection so it's a good mod to learn to build on. I always try to talk people into getting something with protection when they first want to learn, but they always seem to want the shiny tubes lol

Yes, 0.3 to 0.5 is pretty safe. As far as RDAs you have to balance what you want it to really do.

Flavor but decent clouds - Reduced and or narrow chamber - Examples the Helios, Derringer, IGO W
Good Flavor and Good Clouds - A slight larger chamber than above - Tugboat, Plume Veil, Freakshow, Kennedy, Patriot
Decent Flavor but big clouds - About same size and second category but massive airflow - Doge, Mutation X, Dark Horse, Velocity
