New to modding...???

so im kinda lost im about to make a flashlight mod have everything coming from madvapes but im stumped as to how i would get a switch to stay in the hole i drill i bought a 6mm X 6mm switch and there is no threads for a nut so how do i go about putting the switch in so when i press it it dosent fall into the flash light glue?,epoxy?,hot glue?,solder?....any one have a pic of how they did it?...

super glue, epoxy, JB weld. There is a nuber of items that pp. use in frequency. Keep in mind that some adhesives will come "unglued" because of the the E Juice leaking.

i have used hot glue, epoxy and super glue. just be careful not to put to much oh the switch, i had some seepage once and it ended up gooing the switch and had to get a new one.

Personally I use liquid nail. Once that stuff hardens nothing is going anywhere. Also it doesn't expand or contract as is cures, so the way the glue is when you apply, is exactly how it will be cured.

ok awesome guys thanks..for some odd reason i thought people were just putting it in the whole they drilled and it either snapped in or something idk. but thanks for the info!

well there are some switches and connectors that have a small nut that can be used to tighten the item to the box. Not always the best option.. sometimes you don't get the hole just right, or the the nut will keep coming lose.

just remember if you have a switch failure or something like that after using a bunch of adhesive you're screwed xD I try to use only enough to hold it decently.

if you have problems with the nut coming loose, lock-tite it

well its not that the nut wont hold its that the switch i bought doesn't have threads on it to even put a nut so i didnt know if there was a way to get the switch to stay another way
