I'm not exactly new to the vaping train, I had hopped on perhaps 3 years ago using the cig lookalike minis, but constantly lost them and eventually just stopped buying new ones. Recently I'm seeing a new wave of super techy mods with variable wattage that are affordable and don't seem daunting to use. I did a little research and ended up buying a istick 50w and an Aspire Nautilus tank. I'm very happy with the iStick, although I feel as though the Nautilus might have be an antiquated tank. The clouds I have been able to produce are exactly what I'm looking for and at least at the moment I'm not interested in an RDA.

Moving Forward

As a smoker, vape is a great wait for me to cut down on smoking cigs, but since I was ever a pack a day smoker or anything like that. I'm finding myself using the vape much more frequently than I would be smoking cigarettes. I'm concerned about my nicotine intake (especially at night as I find that it keeps me awake), so the logical solution for me is buy another tank. I would keep the Nautilus at home for non-nicotine liquid and purchase a new tank for when I'm at work or school... I know the iStick is capable of sub-ohm firing, which appears to be all the rage, but I'm having a hard time understanding why. I'm constantly reading anecdotal posts like "sub-ohm = more vapor." It seems like the Kanger Subtank series or Eleaf Lemo series are probably the hottest RTAs on the market right now... Here are my questions..

  1. Is it a good idea to have separate tank(Nautilus) for non-nicotine consumption, particularly at home?
  2. Which second rebuild-able tank should I buy?
  3. Should said tank be sub-ohm?

Thank you in advance this forum seems to be very knowledgeable!
