new to RDA's need help!

I am new to rebuilding attys and i own an itaste svd. I heard it wont vape anything lower than 1.2ohms and if you did put anything less than that it would read short. Well obviously its reading .8ohms. Im wondering what will happen if i try to vape this. whats the lowest youve put on your svd? a quick response would be appreciated since i am sitting here waiting to vape it lol.

I recently had this kind of problem with the provari. I was trying to build with a 28g wire.. With the 28g wire i was getting less than 1 ohm. I switched to the 32g wire and no more errors. Some of my builds gets an average of 1.5 to 2+ ohms. I dont own an SVD but im guessing just like the provari, you will get an error or it just wont fire. I could be wrong, Im new to this kind of stuff too.

the svd will read the ohms but won't fire it. You need a mechanical mod for that.

how many times did you wrap the coil? 4 to 5 wraps will get you around 1.4-1.8ohms which should fire safely at lower volts

What gauge wire are you using?

You either need a lot more wraps, or you need higher gauge wire.

1.5ohm+ is what i shoot for on regulated devices. 31 or 32 gauge kanthal is the easiest to use on regulated mods.

im using 32 im trying to get 1.3 ohms as i believe thats what it will fire at. i keep gettin 1.2 or 1.5 4 or 5 wraps.

It wont fire your .8 ohm coil.. 4/5 wraps on a 32awg would probably be good..

if you wanna go lower olms, id say get a cheap mechanical like a kts storm from fasttech for around $20

5 wraps cant get more than .9 ohms now. omg

using the very last bit of my wire i finally had to settle with 1.7 ohms. open the air hole a bit. vapor like crazy.
