I do it like this:

- dump bag into pot
- dump distilled water into pot, enough to cover the balls
- boil for half hour
- strain, then dump on multiple folded sheets of paper towels and squeeze out the excess water
- pile on clean cookie sheet and air dry for 24-48 hours until completely dry
- ziplock

:)

thnx a bunch my first rda is on the way from china so im going to stop at cvs or raisin rack and pick me some cotton, hehe will have plenty of time to dry. :)

]Dragan, you need to slow down a little bit! I know you're really excited and I'm sure the experience will be great but please get familiar with ohms law, get good gear, and at least watch a bunch of vids on youtube that explain the process. [/B]

RDAs are great, rebuilding can be a lot of fun, but until you know what you're doing you need to be careful as there are some dangers involved. What did you say you were going to try and build, dual 22 wrap coils? That's crazy, you'll end up more than frustrated trying to get that to happen with your early builds. Get some 28 or 30 kanthal and go for more reasonable wraps, even try some SINGLE coils before you think about something like quad or dragon coils.

We're glad you're vaping, glad you're on this forum, and not trying to burst your bubble but please slow down!

^^^Yes to ALL of the above! It's VERY exciting and empowering to get into mech mods and want to go straight to the awesomesauce. I got the itch very quickly, too. And like, you, I wanted it ALL. Right. Now! Even as a mathematician and electrical skills and all that, I still REALLY needed to learn how electricity relates to the system of vaping before jumping into quad coils and all that.

Seriously, quad coils = troubleshooting times 4, at minimum. It quadruples the number of problems that could appear in your build. Lengthens the learning curve and inevitably adds to frustration. I strongly advise some single coils in mid range ohms (definitely over 1ohm) to practice. Dual and quads require "matched" ohms, and learning to build "repeatable" coils of equal ohmage is a bit more difficult than YouTube makes it look, for sure, especially when you don't know from experience on how things should be looking and acting.

Have fun, but be safe and patient. Don't let your excitement lead to frustrating and angering yourself. We who say this speak from experience. We want everyone to be safe and don't wish anyone to hurt themselves here.

my impression is find out what your batterys amp rating is i have 18650 imr efest 2000mah apperently rated at 10 amps and using ohms law at 3.7 volts and 9 amps to be safe .411 ohms is the lowest ide ever go, if i was using a mech any way. also what ive learned is that most 18650 batterys even at full charge say 4.1 - 4.2 volts but under load they use 3.7 ish depending on batt quality it will stay closer to 3.7 the more drained the batt gets. i got most of this from a realy good video #CloudChasing: Intro to Sub Ohm Vaping - YouTube a little long but def worth watching all the way through. im still very unclear to the difference a regulated device will have on this other than not being able to sub ohm.

The Sony 30amps (VTC3/4) and the AW IMR 18650 1600mah (These are 15C, which = 24amp; yes, they are better than the 2000mah AW's) are the best 16850's I can personally recommend for mechs and low ohms (and sub-ohming). There are the "purple E fests" out there rated to 35amps, but I have zero experience with them, so I will not recommend what I've not used.

hope you really like 28 gauge, that is like a 3-5 years supply of it. I doubt I've used more than 50" in the 9 months I've been building, and that's building way more than I really needed to. 28 awg has been my main wire, and have recently gotton into twisted and twisted ribbon.

Ha, that is a lot. Starting to build, it's not always good to save by buying miles of wire at first at bulk pricing. I did pay the "crazy" $1 per meter prices to get a bunch of different gauges. $5 is well spent to find out gauges one likes best enough to order a large spool of the favorites.

Thank you all for the help, so I guess ill be needing an Ohm meeter, I still have a few days to read up before the equipment gets here.

Any imput on the HCigar Gamma Atomizer Clone, clone vs OEM, dripper vs the one u pore the oil on every refill.

This is the video I found really helpful and detailed was gonna attempt copying this dual coil set up.

Dragan, that is a super cool build but has a about an 8.6 or 9.0 degree of difficulty in the build. Please, pretty please, build at least a few single micro coils (heck even big old stard 4/5 wrap coils) before you try a QUAD NANO COIL.

Rip makes is look easy, too easy. He is the one of the best if not THE BEST builder around.

So I ended up getting the IGO w-4 and drilled out the tiny holes. I tried building a few dual coils with 28g and 30g and they were OK, even tried doing a quad but that was really tedious was shorting out at first than made sure i bent all the wires right it was reading .45 ohms and didnt really work out got really hot quick so I gave up and took apart 2 kanger pro coils and used the coils from them on my RDA since I ran out of wire lol but she vapes pretty good not the monster cloud yet but should get some more wire in the mail today or tomorrow.

I have build dual dragon nano coils and a few others they are fun to try out but imho some coild are meant to look good and not perform well..

so much comes into play like what you are talking about a quad nano coil set up air flow, wick type, chamber size, etc. etc.

What I have been messing with lately is twisted 24 gauge with cotton wick and the diy tips I have made.
