New to Temp Control

Hey guys, I just got an ipv4 with a high voltage Matrix tank. My nickel coils just came in and I was wondering if anyone had some tips for temp and what joules I should use?

Start at 400 degrees and 30 joules and play around with higher temps and higher joules until you get to the point where you feel comfortable. The important setting is the temp. The joule setting just determines how quickly you will hit your preset temperature. Personally on all of my TC devices, I set the temp control to 450 degrees and will fluctuate anywhere from 30-50 joules.

If you're going to use the temp control where you set it depends on what you're using for wicking, for cotton I wouldn't go over 450 (personally I use 420 for cotton).
