Thanks again everyone it's good to know I'm not the only one that been taken by the mall bums If the man him self got swindled it takes the pain away a bit.

I would love to open a mall kiosk selling Reos, batteries, chargers, attys, cartos, drip tips, and juice. That would be a fun sales job.

Once you find your sweet spot on gear, the spending will ramp down. Just gotta ride it out until then. :)

 Quoted for truthiness!!

Seriously, except for buying multiple REOs, which are (after the first back-up) a "want" more than a "need", my monthly costs are about $35-$40. I have an all day juice and an atty that works well with it. My REOs just plain work, and work well. Life is good! :)

Uhh pleading the 5th haha

My family has had postal workers since the early 1900s, three generations. Postal Workers are People, too.

So many changes have occured, especially in past 20 years, that have changed the whole nature of the job toward the negative. It used to be a pretty cushy job (sans the physical labor) and secure job and people were proud to be postal workers and admired and loved by those they served.

I still respect the jobs you guys/gals do for us and wish your working conditions were better. :toast:

My younger sister and her husband, both just retired from PO (They are the ones who saw the massive changes and had to spend a lot of time and effort, via organized workers, last half of their careers, keeping as many rights and safe working conditions, as possible for workers). My Dad was a rural carrier (really rural in Kentucky), I mean some "roads" really weren't there, and my Mom's Foster Mom was one of the first female substitutes, rural route, in the early 1900's.

Hugs, Alice

Thank you thank you all for the wishes. I can't stop purchasing supplies I just got a pack of Boge 2 ohm cartos so when I get home it's experiment time to see which I prefer cartos or attys. This is fun but I can see it getting expensive I got a baby on the way lol I have to calm down.

Forgot to tell you Congratulations for new baby. Is this your first? Surely hope wife has a pleasant pregnancy. It's great when that happens.

Hugs, Alice

My girl friend is a postal worker Alice. I couldn't agree more with your post. What terrible changes taking place and more gutting of the middle class imo.

That is an impressive family resume. I'm not even a full on regular carrier I'm a TE since they haven't offered the test in years that's how they gain employees now. Hire transitional employees on a 360 day contract an let them go for a week then bring us back. Saves them on benefits I suppose but it's no bigge I get them through the military.
And yes this is our first it's been an expiereance lol were both very excited but boy oh boy that first trimester was rough. She was sick, and sick a lot still wondering where the phrase morning sickness came from. It should be called 24/7 3month sickness.
