Hello all -

I've been a heavy cigar smoker for a number of years; not a great habit for a musician with a need to keep the throat in good shape, not to mention the cost. On tour this summer, I ran across a Jazz e-cigar for $20 and found it to be a promising alternative, maybe even a way of quitting altogether. So, the day after a gig in Gettysburg, PA (Garryowen Irish Pub; awesome place) I remembered seeing a placed called Gettysburg Vapes and wandered in to inquire about more e-cigars. They didn't have the disposable variety and I wasn't sure about getting into the whole e-cig thing, but they suggested some locations for me to check out. Didn't try to sell me anything. So, I asked them about vaping in general and, after a bit of a demonstration, walked out with an Evod Twist, ProTank Mini III and two delicious bottles of 6 mg ejuice (Afternoon Delight and Butterscotch.) That was July 6th. I quit cigars cold turkey and haven't looked back.

Now, 24 days later, I feel incredibly better and have added an eGo C Twist and iTaste MVP 2 to my battery collection with the Kanger Protank II, iClear 16, Kanger T3S BCC and Kanger Aerotech Mini clearomizers. Most of my research online kept bringing me to this site, so I registered today and am looking forward to learning more as I continue on this new path. Thanks to everyone who has helped me understand so much already. Peace!

Welcome to ECF and congratulations on switching from tobacco products to vaping. I myself am also a fairly new vaper but I already seen the benefits they hold over traditional tobacco products. I've found ECF to be a lovely place to hang out and help other people as well as get help with your own issues and I hope you will find a home here as well.
