Welcome aboard. I'm pretty new to this stuff too but have found the Innokin Itaste stuff with T3 tank is a decent place to dive in. Not so cheap it won't work right and piss you off but quality stuff and not crazy expensive. The T3 is also low maintenance, easy to fill and won't leak (unless you try driving while unscrewing the tank wrong and pour juice all over your pants and car seat ... don't ask) I got into vv and vw right off the bat and am glad I did. If you are going to play around with different juices it helps make the most out of them. I haven't bought too much online juice, I have a local shop I like to sit at and test different flavors. I'm going to get premixed nic juice and flavor my own soon. Good luck.

Starter kit/batteries I used for close to a year when I started vaping was the Kgo kit from Hoosierecig. It's updated now with 1300Mah batteries but I haven't tried the new EVODs the kits come with. I've enjoyed Kgo batteries with a slim Smoketech dual coil cartomizer tanks. Far as batteries go the Kgos are good bang for the buck. Size compared to battery life good. Recommend lower 1.5 -1.7 ohm type devices as they are set for 3.7v. (So lower Ohm/resistance give little more power to attached device)

If you want to try adjustable voltage is small package there are some Vision spinner 1300mah kits. Depending on where get get them the attached atomizer device maybe different. They are good little batteries that give you an adjustable 3.3 - 4.8v. Just slightly longer than the Kgo megas 1300mah.

If you want something bigger, better battery life, and variable volt look at the iTaste MVP kits. It has internal Battery and charges like a phone. Believe its 2600mah. The iclears 30/16 that come with different kits are good beginner vaper devices. iTaste VTR, which uses external batteries, also comes in different kits with iclears. Just make sure the kit either says 18650 batteries/charger included or gives option as an accessory addon. Batteries that work well in these external battery type devices: AW IMR 18650 2000mah, EFEST IMR 18650 2000mah, EH 18650 IMR 2000mah.

Although I've never tried one, the protank II also seems to be a good device for most beginner vapers.

I've been making my own juice, so I'll let one with more experience on different vendors give ya some suggestions.

Hi there! I am new to the e-cig world, I decided to quit smoking and get into vaping. I bought myself a HALO system tank and I have been trying some of their flavors, I really like the subzero e juice.

what are some of the best starter kits out there?

what are some of the best e-juice companies?

Hey, I'm new as well. A friend told me it makes it easier if you look at it as "changing the way you smoke" as opposed to quitting. Makes sense to me, & that's the way I'm going about it.

Hope this helps.

Welcome to ECT and for taking the first step in quitting smoking analogs!

I too had many questions when I first started and really had no idea where to begin. My initial thread http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...841-newbie-looking-cigarette-replacement.html is full of useful information which you may benefit from. Everyone's opinions will vary and finding a good PV is personal preference. What works for one may not work for another.

I ended up getting an iTaste VV V3 starter kit and was able to completely quit smoking immediately. I have now also added a couple Kanger ProTank II minis to my collection and am about to start learning how to build my own coils.

I wish you the best of luck and we are all here for support and the help answer any questions you may have.

Can't go wrong with the spinner 1300 mah or ego twist style battery to start....a month or two down the road, they make good backups for when your batteries are charging for your APV or you want a smaller device to take out and about. Protanks, evods, vivi novas, cartos....whatever topper your looking for, start with baditude's links on his post. He won't steer you wrong.

Juice is very subjective. I go through alot of juice so I go with Mt Baker. It's made to order, so most juices require steeping(look up steeping how to's on youtube). I've found most of the flavors I've tried are ok to good....but I like the sweet juices. Reading the reviews may be helpful. My dad likes Heather's Heavenly Vapes for tobacco flavors but I haven't personally tried them.

Welcome to ECF! Enjoy the journey. :vapor:

No. You are not quitting smoking cigs. You are not quitting anything. You are not drawing a line in the sand. You are just going to "dabble" in the e-cig world and see where it goes. Nobody is quitting anything. I still have cigarettes and lighters. There is no rule that says I can't just smoke a cigarette if I want to. I am not a quitter.

I just don't find the need to smoke cigs anymore.

When your tank and battery are working great, life is good. But I constantly worry all day that something will break so I bring extra of everything. Analog cigarettes are notoriously reliable.

MT Baker Vapors have cheap juice. I like the Cinnamon Roll. There is another called NeckBeards Nectar that I get locally that is good too. There are a lot of flavors I don't like. Plus I got cigarettes in case I need them.

You can vape all you want for a dollar. Each cigarette costs 25 cents.
