What's up everybody, I'm new to this whole forum thing, so please let me know if I'm doing anything wrong and how to do it right. I do have some knowledge when it comes to vaping, not a lot but some. So here it goes...

My current set up is a kbox mini that I had an isub tank on for a little while but have since passed the isub down to my gf. I bought a smok tfv4 since I'm planning on getting the x cube II. I have the rba in it right now because the triple and quad coils are too low ohms to run on my kbox. I wicked the rba with the material that came with it and put it all together and it worked fine for a couple hits and then I started getting dry or burnt tasting hits, I thought I maybe wicked it too tight and it wasn't getting enough juice so I rewicked it with have the thickness of that same material and I'm having the same problem still. I'm only trying to run it at 25watts and the juice I'm using is 70/30 vg/pg. Does the wicking material that comes with the tfv4 just suck or what am I doing wrong?

    No you can't
Prime your wicks and wait five minutes before using them.

Getting dry hits your not getting enough of juice to the wick, if pre made lower your voltage/wattage settings.

If your doing DIY your own coil and wicks then you could try less or more wick even shorter wicks. DIY is a learning curve that can be picked up very quickly.

I build my own coils for my rda, but with this so far I'm just using the coil that came with it. I primed with juice, and then filled the tank and let it sit for at least a half hour. I've watched a couple videos on how to wick this rba and tried to follow the suggestions the best that I could, and those guys are running it on 35-45 watts and being able to chain vape. I'm only trying to run it at 25w and I can hit it once and then the next hit is dry unless I let it sit a couple mins in between. For some reason I'm wanting to try wicking it with some of the cotton I use for my rda instead of the stuff that came with the tank. it's just such a pain taking that tank apart.
    Thoughts?
