I have been reading the wealth of information on this site and wanted to say that this place is awesome. I have learned so much in the short time I have been here. I am new here and also just started vaping. But with all the information and knowledge that can be found here I feel like I have been doing this for a long time. I have just started vaping 2 weeks ago and enjoy it a lot.

Because of all the support here and knowledge I am going to be attempting my first mod in a few weeks and I have supplies on order to start DIY-ing my own juice.

I have also converted my son from analogs to vaping and he is now going on 6 days without having an analog.

Thanks to every one here for all the info.

DIY can be a lot of fun and saves a ton of money over buying pre-mixed juices. Some flavors are easy to make and some are harder, I find that the tobacco flavors are harder for me to do. One thing you can try if you have a favorite flavor but you can't make it come out the same when you DIY is to buy the flavor premixed in whatever mg nicotine and also buy an additional bottle of it in zero mg nicotine, that way you can mix them to create any mg nicotine you like and still get the flavor you want.

Good luck, and welcome :)

sounds like great news. everyone loves success stories. I've been vaping for 2 months and just tried to DIY about 3 weeks ago. I found it to be hard to create the exact flavor I was looking for. I found that my flavors were "flat" for no better term. Still had great vape and TH but lacked depth. I hope you find success.

Grats! Once you have 5 posts/replies and wait an hour, you'll be able to post in the DIY section

I am dropping my nicotine by not letting myself vape all the time so I can vape extra when I make a drop. Done one drop already, straight from 18mg to 12mg over a weekend. Was actually pretty easy, the main loss being some of the TH. But I have flavors I like, I like cartomizers and are using them on KR8 and 510. I actually vape both units all day, picking up whichever I am in the mood for - 2 flavors and Vapor4Life KR8 is a bit hotter vape, 510 Boge cartos seem to make more vapor. I am already planning my drop to 6 but I may go through 9 on the way by mixing some of my leftover 12mg with 6mg or 0mg. I already bought 0mg and 6mg of my fave juices.

I think homing in on ejuices you really enjoy is really helpful. I was only satisfied on tobacco ejuices the first couple of months. I tried dozens and it took me a while to find what I liked (Turkish blends like BWB Casablanca, and the stronger FSUSA Desert Ship which I would change up with chocolate, vanilla, light caramel). Now I'm into cocoa tobacco (like Vapor4Life WOWbacco) and vanillas. Now the flavor itself is relaxing to me and between flavor and the dragging habit, I feel pretty confident I can cut my nicotine and get to 0.

NorCal - The place to be!
Welcome to the forum! You've come to the right place, everything you need is right here(I'm sure you already knew that)! I would've been lost without this place, I started with a KR808D-1 from V4L and now I'm building my own box mods and mixing my own juice! This place is awesome and I would be devastated if anything ever happened to ECF. Glad you could join us, new friend!
