Hi everyone,
I've lurked on some posts on this site for a while and figured it time to finally jump on. I've been vaping for about 2 years now, used it to kick a 10 year 2 pack a day habit. I really look forward to meeting some people and learning from the vast experience on here. so here is my first question.. I have always used lg hg2 3000mah 20a batteries in my mods and for the most part don't vape over 70watts. i just purchased a dripbox 160 bc my curiosity about squonkers got the best of me and the price was right. This mod came with 2 new samsung 30Q 3000mah 15a batteries. I don't want to assume the seller knows battery safety, just like I don't pretend to. should i ditch these batteries for higher amp to get the most out of the 160 or are these batteries going to serve me well?
thanks in advance,
Mike

I use the 30Qs on dual battery mods (at modest power), so no rush to ditch them. Quite how high you can go on the 160 someone will know (assuming 0.2 coil) or will do the math for you. They are great batteries just not ideal for mega watts/amps.
Good luck, I'll be pleased to read the answers too. :)

Awesome!! thanks for the fast response, it will save me some money on buying more batteries!

Just remember with 20amp batteries, max wattage per battery is between 60 to 65 watts, so in a dual battery series you are looking at about 120 to 130watts max with either the HG2 or 30Q
