Hello everybody, decided to register to the forum after the purchase of my new ego-w 650mah! Always find myself browsing so why not. Have a few newb questions on vaping with this ecig and vaping in general that i'm sure could easily be answered by some of the vets on this site. This is my first Ecig and I just want to make sure that I'm doing everything correctly so i can avoid breaks and what not! First i must say this thing is awesome, I've smoked out of many different Ecigs that friends own and what not but never had one of my own and i'm very happy with my purchase. I'm just wondering about the overall care of the ego pipe and looking for some tips on smoking and maintaining it. What are some basic do's and dont's when smoking this pipe? Tips on smoking in general? How often do i need to clean/replace the cartomizers? Any kind of advice, tips/tricks or whatever would help seeing as i'm new to vaping. Also, wondering about any mods or things i must have to go along with this pipe, thanks for reading!

I'm not familiar with the Ego "W."

But generally speaking? A cartomizer will give you good flavor, google "Condom fill method for cartomizers"....that will show u a great way to fill blank cartomizers yourself. Buy bottles of eliquid and fill them yourself. It is much CHEAPER this way, don't buy prefilled cartomizers. You rip yourself off that way.

You can refill the cartomizer a few times with the same eliquid. You can add a bit more with a blunt needle tip syringe thru the cotton ring near the top inside the carto. Don't keep vaping the carto if u get a hot dry hit, that will BURN the cotton inside. Once its burnt its garbage. Time to toss it.

A clearomizer is another "topper" for ur ego "w." You can see clear thru it . No need to guess how much juice u have left. These can be rinsed out under a hot faucet. Let them airdry completely before reusing them. They mute the taste a bit, but last longer then a carto.

welcome to ecf AND KEEP ON VAPING.

Also, just to add my 2 cents worth, don't over tighten your clearo, carto, or tank onto your battery as it may compress the insulator ring under the terminal and eventually cause connection issues (just snug so it does not rattle or turn easily - also clean the terminal and threads with a paper towel regularly (I clean mine every other day with a dry paper towel and then use the little alcohol pads (see in diabetic supplies at drug store or grocery store - cheap and convenient) once a week as some juice and or condensation can get in the terminal post) - and DON'T under any circumstances use water or "gasp" paint thinner to soak your battery in to clean it (read a post this morning that somebody did that to clean their provari and was wondering why it wouldn't work anymore, but I can't find it tonight)

Oh - found it - http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/new-members-forum/418674-provari-dead.html

Most important imo is to let the battery relax after charging before use.
If charging gets the battery heated up(it shouldn't) it may be best to just replace it.
After charging do the first couple of activations away from your face.
Most battery accidents happen when it's fresh off the charger.
Don't leave your batt. in the sunlight or a hot car.

There's a couple important things for you to keep in mind...and welcome to ECF and vaping.:vapor::vapor:
