Just saying hi and introducing my self to the forum. My name is Carl and i am in idaho. hopping to meet some cool new people that are into E-Cigs as much or more than I am. Thanks to the moderators of this site for providing it to us. I'm excited to learn more on my quest for the ultimate mod.

Disk4mat> Thankyou for the welcome as well. I am currently using a lava tube due to budget but am saving for a provari i think at this point. I am also looking at other mods and the possibility of building my own mod. I am a tinkerer by nature and good with my hands so i have been researching that as well as needed parts and suppliers. what about you what is your suggestion and your set up?

Hi Carl, I have a Lava Tube as well...perfectly fine device! The Vmax is also a really nice variable volt device worth checking out. I have both of these devices as well as a Switchback from VaporBeast and a Bolt which is a very cool inexpensive 18650 battery mod!

I will say my favorite Mod is my Provari. The heft, reliability and general cool factor is what I like best!

I like your idea of building your own mod, should be allot of fun! Have fun and WELCOME TO ECF!

The Lava tube should be a great device! Ive never used one but read many good things. Currently Im using a 1000mah Ego C Twist. But I also use a Volt 900mah X2. I love them both. Have several of the cigarette style kr808 batteries laying about. I use those when Im recharging my primaries.

Im thinking the Twist will hold me for a few months, but Im already itching to buy something new. Im not as far along as you in terms of mods and such - So its hard for me to make suggestions. But there are many knowledgeable people here. No short supply
