Hey all. Would like to introduce myself. i am a former smoker. Been hooked on vaping for over a year now. I've been using an MVP2 with a Kanger aerotank 1.5ohm. I switched to an Aspire Nautilus trying both types of coils. Loved it for a while and then the gurgling started. Went back to the aero tank and cant seem to get it right. Seems no matter what I try, I get a burnt taste. I have tried a new coil and I think I have it down to the type of juice.
Anyway...just bought my first mod (AV Manhattan). I will let you know how it goes.

to ecf rangerral . So nice to meet you and glad you are here. Just a wonderful place to be as far as I am concerned. I am not familiar with that pv but just wanted congratulate you on your vaping. I'm sure someone will come along and help you. I wonder if it is possible that you just got a dud in the Aspire? I have always read such good things about them and I used one for a while when the first came out and never had any issues. Well anyway, have fun and I look forward to reading more about you.

Welcome to ECF! What voltage/wattage are you vaping the Aspire at? I found the sweet spot to be between 4-5 volts or 9-11 watts depending on the juice I am using with the airflow wide open or the next smallest opening. Any less air or v/w I get gurgling as well.

rangerra Hello and Welcome to ECF I found the sweet spot on my Aspire Nautius to be with the air on the largest hole and the battery set at 3.8 to 4.3 Volts

Welcome to ECF. Are you vaping high VG juice? If you keep getting a burnt taste, sounds to me like you either have a dirty coil, or it isn't wicking fast enough which is usually the result of THICK juice

Welcome. I'm using Mini Protank 3s on an MVP2, the Protanks should have the same coils as the Aerotank. I'm vaping high VG juice and was having a burnt taste, it helped me to pull some fiber from the wicks, the thinner wicks seem to be better for the really thick juice. Maybe that helps, I don't know what type of liquid you're using. If you're gurgling it could be the opposite problem, flooding your coil, so maybe be careful with that suggestion. Are you having the burnt taste with the gurgling? Or is it gurgling on one tank and burnt taste on the other?

So you've been using the aerotank.
Now you got a nautilus;
then the nautilus started to gurgle;
switched back to the aerotank and getting burnt taste.

my guess is when you put on the nautilus you ended up cranking up the power
then you switched back to the aerotank and the power was too much.

on the other hand the aerotank uses dual coil , so I guess both should be around the same power..

maybe its vaper's excitement at new toy causing the - i sucky too hard - phenomenon.
