Hi, and welcome aboard.
Have you been vaping long? If not, I'd not recommend going straight to rebuildables. It's important to learn what a decent vape is, and what to look for, before getting into that side. Otherwise, it's going to be really hard to figure out what caused what.

I agree 100% with DavidOck. Rebuilding/mechs can get dangerous if you don't have the base knowledge to start with.

I use the Sony vtc4 30A batteries and they have an ohm limit of .14. When I went into one of my local shops on a friday night to buy a mech mod they just so happen to be hosting a free class on battery safety and wow there was a lot of great info i took from there. I had already done a bit of research but I got answers to questions I did not know to ask. Maybe you can hit up a few shops in your area and just talk to some of the folks there!

So guys I decided on what I want finally.
I decided that I want to get AW IMR 18650 red batteries (I already have the charger).
I also want to get the BIG DRIPPER RTDA Clone and the steampunk mod I mentioned above.
I also want to get my build to a 0.6 omh and I have researched the fact that mods do not explode if you do your research and buy good quality stuff. Thoughts?

Question for you.
How many amps will your .6 ohm build pull (using a fully charged battery) and what is the amp rating of your battery? Great battery, BTW.

AW 18650 are only good up to a 10 amp draw limit. At .5 you will be drawing 8.4 amps. I would recommend a Efest 2500 mah 20 amp (will say 35 amp but its 35 amp pulse). Or a sony VTC4. The VTC4 has a 30 amp limit meaning you can build down to .14 ohms (wouldn't recommend) and you can safely go down to .21 with the Efest (and not pull the pulse amperage). I know nothing about the mod and dripper you chose. I myself use a changeling clone and a plumeveil 1.5 clone and get awesome flavor and vapor. The best mods are copper mods because they have less of a voltage drop than say stainless steel or brass. Angelcigs has a beautiful mod called the Emma mod that is a copper mod. Only problem with angelcigs now is they got rid of free shipping and charge by weight. If you can find it check it out! As for a dripper I see a lot of Mutation X, 454 Big Block, Magma, Plumeveil, Veritas. The first 4 are simple to build but the veritas is a pain in the .... to build. Make sure you check out baditudes blog about battery safety to make sure you understand. Make sure you have a good ohms meter before building a coil (like don't use a vamo v5 to check resistance).
