Hey guys and gals.

Im new to the forum, but have been vaping for a little while. Started with the basic disposable ecigs and moved up to a Vapor-Blends Pro starter kit. Well this week I decided to upgrade for my birthday. Currently using this set up:

It has a generic purple drip tip, Vapor-blends 6ml branded tank (it's a clone of a different tank), flared collar and a Vision Spinner 1300mah adjustable battery.

Liking it so far. I should have done more research on the tank and gotten one without a wick. As is I can't use the upper half of the battery adjustment with out tasting burning wick. When it burns out I'll get a real tank

Welcome to ECF. I started out with a 1300mah Vision Spinner also. It will serve you well for a while. I had 2, one to use while the other was charging. Used Evods with it and 510 attys for dripping. Finding the right topper and a juice you can vape all day is the next quest.

Lots to explore here. Don't be afraid to ask questions, people here are quite helpful. Have fun!

Hello and welcome Renswic & Gnarly! Do you know what the ohms are on the atty inside your tank Ren? I like your set-up I have the same Purple Vision Spinner :). Do you know if the wick is single or dual coil/2 or 4 wicks? If you know what the ohms are you can set the spinner to the exact number. Ex: If you have a 2ohm atty then add +2= 4 and that's the number you'll set you mark at. You can adjust it up or down a bit to get the best vape for you. The number is usually stamped on the silver body of the atty. Let us know how you're getting along with things! Happy Vaping!

Hello and welcome, both of you!

Just an FYI -- all tanks have coils w/wick. The wick pulls the eliquid from the tank and feeds the coil which than vaporizes your eliquid when you press the battery button.

If you are getting a burnt taste (we call those "dry hits"), if usually means your wick cannot pull the eliquid fast enough to keep up with your battery. You have two options:

1. Dial down your voltage. This will show down how fast your coil is vaporizing your eliquid and/or
2. Take a sharp draw (or two) on your drip tip (without engaging your battery). This will pull more eliquid into the coil so that it will be available when you draw and press the battery button.

Hope this helps!

Ya I'm loving the battery. Got it in the mail yesterday and swapped them out and still haven't had to charge it. Quite the change from my old and now backup 650mah battery.

I'll dump the tank today (in to a shot glass, waste not want not) and see what I can find. It has 2 wicks on it. When I pull it apart later I'll post pics of the guts.

I've been working on finding the sweet spot on volts. I tried 2 Sharp hits and it worked great.

Well the badass battery kill the cheap ... no name crap clone tank. :( After a few calls to local places, I went to the one that has been opened the longest and had good reviews. Told the lady there that I was after a dual bottom coil, that could handle the battery's adjustable voltage, that can be fully taken apart and had easy to replace coils and parts.

She showed me a couple of options and even walked me through taking them apart. I picked the one that worked easiest with me. Got a Kanger Protank 3 with 2ohm coils. Been loving it, handles the voltage with no problems, easy(ish) to fill :)

I think my next goal is a faster charger and a 2nd bigger and adjustable battery.

Plan to save the used coils and trying to build my own as well.
